The wiper blade comprises elastic wiping elements, a wiping element holder, a member for fixing to the windshield wiper finger, and end tips. The wiping elements are installed into a single wiping element holder made from a resilient metal strip. The wiping element holder is configured with two longitudinal parallel slots. Rectangular recesses are configured at the end of each slot for the elastic wiping element installation. The member for fixing to the windshield wiper finger is configured as a parallelepiped with conical outer side and a longitudinal bore. The projecting edges and fixation holes enable securing the wiping element holder with elastic wiping elements in the inner bore. Two holes and four cutouts at the wiping element holder's ends are provided for end tip fixing. Each tip is shaped as a flat parallelepiped with rounded corners with an open front end and a closed rear end.

The present invention concerns an elongated elastic support element 16 for a wiper blade 10 intended to be inserted in a support 14 for a wiper blade 10, the elongated elastic support element 16 being formed integrally between two longitudinal ends 16a and through which passes a median longitudinal plane P1, the elongated elastic support element comprising locking means 50 each intended to cooperate with a complementary locking member 56 carried by the wiper blade 10, and of which at least one locking means 50 is arranged at each longitudinal end 16a of the elongated elastic support element 16, characterized in that the locking means 50 comprise a single locking notch 50 per longitudinal end 16a, a first locking notch 50b extending from one side of the median longitudinal plane P1 and a second locking notch 50c extending from the other side of the median longitudinal plane P1. The invention also concerns a wiper blade 10 and a windscreen wiper 1 of a motor vehicle comprising said blade.

A windscreen wiper device (1) of the flat blade type, particularly for automobiles, includes an elastic, elongated carrier element, as well as an elongated wiper blade (2) of a flexible material, which can be placed in abutment with a windscreen to be wiped. The wiper blade includes at least one longitudinal groove (3), in which groove at least one longitudinal strip (4) of the carrier element is disposed. A connecting device (5) is connected to the flexible material of the wiper blade by at least one pin (14), that cooperates with a recess (21) provided along an exterior edge of the longitudinal strip in order to limit any movement of the wiper blade in longitudinal direction thereof relative to the longitudinal strip at the location of the interconnection of the connecting device and the wiper blade. The connecting device has a substantially U-shaped cross-section, wherein free ends of legs (8) of the U-shaped cross-section extend inwardly so as to form grooves for receiving longitudinal sides of the wiper blade. At least one of the legs is provided with a hole (13) for receiving the pin, with the special feature that the pin is glued to an inner wall (25) of the hole or the pin is form-locked inside the hole.

The refill subassembly includes a wiping element (42), an elongated spline (44) supporting the element, and a retention clip (46) operatively attached to the spline. The clip has a body (58) and an upwardly-biased cantilevered finger (60) extending from the body. The coupler has a first end (62A) shaped to receive the body of the clip, and a relief (64) defined adjacent to the first end and shaped to accommodate the finger of the clip. The refill subassembly and the coupler cooperate such that predetermined movement of the coupler with respect to the refill subassembly brings the body into engagement with the first end of the coupler such that the finger deflects downwardly until subsequent movement of the coupler along the spline releases the finger upwardly and into the relief of the coupler thereby securing the refill subassembly to the coupler.
