Windscreen wiper device
The windscreen wiper device includes an elastomeric wiper blade that extends in a longitudinal direction. At least one pre-curved longitudinal strip is operably attached with the wiper blade and biases the wiper blade into a curved shape. A connecting device is secured with the at least one strip. The at least one strip includes a pair of tabs that extend longitudinally towards one another and project vertically. The tabs cooperate with the connecting device to secure the connecting device with the at least one longitudinal strip.
Windshield wiper connector
A windshield wiper connector having a peripheral wall having at least two opposing peripheral side walls, a top surface extending from one of the two opposing peripheral side walls to the other; and a channel formed in the top surface, and extending longitudinally along the top of the connector. The connector including a groove near to the proximal end of the connector and sized to be capable of engaging a trapezoidal roller of a wiper arm. The opposing peripheral side walls having a retaining pin aperture aligned with one another and sized to be capable of accepting a retaining pin of at least one pin-type windshield wiper arm. The channel on the top of the connector sized to be capable of accepting a bayonet style wiper arm. A wiper blade assembly having a wiper strip, a force distribution structure, and a connector as described above.
Windshield wiper assembly
Disclosed herein is a windshield wiper assembly configured to be easily assembled to a driving arm equipped in a vehicle. In the windshield wiper assembly, an adaptor is provided with a first coupling part, into which a side pin protruding from the side surface of the driving arm is inserted, and a first entrance of the first coupling part, into which the side pin is inserted, is open upward.
Windshield wiper connector
A wiper blade connector releasably secures a wiper blade to a wiper arm, thereby forming a windshield wiper blade assembly. The wiper blade connector comprises an elongate body member having opposite facing side walls, a front end, and a rear end. The opposite facing sidewalls include means for receiving and releasably securing to the mounting base on a wiper blade. At the front end of the elongate body member, a first tongue receiving opening is sized to receive the corresponding front tongue of a wiper arm. At the rear end of the elongate body member, a second tongue receiving opening is sized to receive the corresponding rear tongue of a wiper arm. A locking mechanism, such as a slidable cap provided proximate to the front end of the elongate body member, releasably locks the wiper blade member to the wiper arm.
WINDSHIELD WIPER
A wiper blade assembly comprises a blade having upper and lower major surfaces, a wiper element extending from the lower major surface of the blade, a connector mounted on the upper major surface of the blade, and spoilers extending from opposite sides of the connector. The spoilers and the connector ore configured to positively engage each other. The spoiler includes a slice which will form a tear in the spoiler should the spoiler be moved axially relative to the connector to at least discourage reattachment of the spoiler should the spoiler be removed. The connector is a connector assembly comprising a connector base mountable to the blade of the wiper and an adapter which is separate from the connector base. The adapter is removably mountable to the connector base. Several different adapters are disclosed to allow the wiper assembly to be connected to different types of vehicle wiper arms.
WIPER BLADE ADAPTER ATTACHMENT SYSTEM
A system and method are provided that enables windshield wiper blades to be replaced without the complexity of removing and reattaching adapters to the wiper arms with every wiper blade replacement cycle. The wiper blade adapter is reusable and stays connected to the windshield wiper arm while providing a simple connecting system that enables the attachment of the wiper blade to the base of the adapters. The adapters are made of engineered plastic that does not wear as quickly as the rubber squeegee and does not need to be replaced as often as the wiper blade. The reusable wiper blade adapter employs a simple mating connector on the wiper blade that provides for an intuitive motion to attach and detach from the base of the adapter thus providing for a simpler blade replacement process.
WIPER SYSTEM
A wiper system may be provided that includes: base adaptor which is coupled to a wiper blade; an upper adaptor which is fastened to the base adaptor; an impact absorbing member which is disposed between the base adaptor and the upper adaptor; and a connector which is fastened to the upper adaptor.
Member for a system for connecting a wiper blade to a windscreen wiper arm
The invention relates to a member 24 for a system for connecting a wiper blade to a windscreen wiper arm, comprising means 80 of articulation about an axis Y of pivoting and configured in order to interact with complementary means of a second member of the connection system, characterized in that the articulation means comprise at least one hole 80 comprising at least two portions 80a, 80b of a cylinder having radii R.sub.1, R.sub.2, which are constant and different, each cylinder forming a rotation bearing.
WINDSHIELD WIPER CONNECTOR
A wiper blade connector including a body member having a first side wall, a second wall, and a top surface extending between the first and second side walls and a connector securing structure, which may include a rivet passage and an arcuate rivet clip, the arcuate rivet clip extending substantially perpendicular to the rivet passage, and a wiper blade incorporating same.
Windshield wiper blade
A windshield wiper blade is provided, which includes a long elastic member extended longitudinally, a wiping lever member, a spoiler supported longitudinally by the elastic member, and having a deflection portion, on the upper side of the elastic member, which bends due to the wind pressure received when a vehicle is traveling, and a base portion, on the lower side of the elastic member, for fixing the wiping lever member, and an outer plug coupled to the longitudinal end of the spoiler. A part of the outer plug is attached to the deflection portion by being inserted longitudinally thereinto, and another part of the outer plug is attached to the base portion by being hooked to the longitudinal side thereof.
