Provided is a method for producing a self-adhesive to be arranged on a package comprising a space to store contents and an opening by which the space and an outside communicate, wherein the opening is repeatedly openable and sealable by the self-adhesive that consists of a cross-linking material of a resin composition containing a (meth)acrylic acid ester copolymer resin having a glass transition temperature of 22.8 C. or more, and a crosslinking agent. The method comprises making the resin composition that contains the (meth)acrylic acid ester copolymer resin, and the crosslinking agent, the resin composition being either emulsion or dispersion; and cross-linking the resin composition.

Container having sliding lid and locking mechanism

A container (1) for consumer goods, the container comprises an outer housing comprising a box portion (60) and a lid portion (50). The lid portion (50) is linearly movable relative to the box portion between a closed position, in which the lid portion covers the access opening, and an open position, in which the access opening is exposed. The container (1) comprises a locking mechanism configured to transition between: a locked state, in which the lid portion (50) is prevented from moving linearly from the closed position to the open position; and an unlocked state, in which the lid portion (50) is able to move linearly from the closed position to the open position.

Package for tobacco products or tobacco related commodities or smoking devices and use thereof

A package for tobacco products or tobacco related commodities or smoking devices, including an openable closure with at least two walls sliding over another when the closure is being opened and closed, at least the one wall includes a sequence of magnetic elements, extending in the direction of the relative movement of the two walls when they slide over another and having alternating positive and negative poles, and that the other wall includes at least one magnetic element with a magnet pole, which slides along the magnetic elements of the one wall when the two walls slide over another. Methods of use are also described.

Process for producing a pack of smoking articles

The invention provides a process for producing a pack of smoking articles, such as cigarettes, which comprises: assembling packaging material, such as a packaging blank, around a charge of smoking articles to form a pack enclosing the charge smoking articles. The assembled pack includes a container portion to hold the charge of smoking articles, a lid in hinged connection with the container portion which is movable between a closed position for preventing access to the smoking articles in the container portion and an open position for accessing the smoking articles, and a magnetic closure having a first magnetic closure element and a second magnetic closure element which are configured and arranged to exert a magnetic force for holding the lid in the closed position. The process for producing the pack includes placing the first and second magnetic closure elements together or in combination with one another in the packaging material that forms the pack.
