Container having a closable loading opening
A container, in particular a pallet container, having at least one side wall, a loading opening that can be closed by a flap, and a device for holding the flap in a closed position. The holding device includes a retainer, which is arranged on the side wall or on the flap and which is intended to hold the flap in the closed position and is designed so that the flap is movable to the closed position when a counterforce exerted by the retainer is overcome. The holding device holds the flap in the closed position by latching the flap on the retainer, by latching the retainer on the side wall, or by latching the retainer on a holding member that is provided to receive the retainer and is arranged on the flap or on the side wall.
QUARTER PALLET WITH PRODUCT TAB RECEIVING AREAS FOR PRODUCTS CARRIED THEREON
A pallet includes a top including a product support surface and an opposing underside, with outer sides extending between the product support surface and the underside. Four feet each extend away from the underside of the top, and each foot has a first opening facing out through the product supporting surface of the top. The feet thus allow stacking of such pallets with the feet of a first such pallet extending into the first openings of a second such pallet. Product tab receiving areas are for receiving respective product tabs, with each product tab receiving area having a slot within the top adjacent a respective outer side of the top. The slot has a pair of spaced apart opposing long sidewalls and a pair of spaced apart opposing short sidewalls adjacent to the pair of long sidewalls, with one of the long sidewalls including a laterally extending tongue for engaging an opening in one of the product tabs.
Quarter pallet with product tab receiving areas for products carried thereon
A pallet for transporting products thereon includes a top having a product support surface and an opposing underside, and with outer sides extending between the product support surface and the opposing underside. Four feet each extend away from the underside of the top. Each foot has a first opening facing out through the product supporting surface so that the feet allow stacking of such pallets. At least one product tab receiving area is adjacent an edge of the top and has a parent slot within the top with a partially closed bottom forming a shelf and an opening adjacent the shelf. An inner slot extends through the opening adjacent the shelf so as to be recessed below the parent slot. The inner slot has a pair of spaced apart sidewalls, a closed bottom, and with one of the sidewalls having a projection extending towards the other sidewall.
TRANSPORT AND STORAGE SYSTEM
The present invention relates to the field of the transportation and storage of goods and to a transport and storage system and, in particular, a system for the transportation and storage of goods such as palletized goods and self-standing goods. The present invention seeks to provide a system that can enable goods to be securely and reliably horizontally, vertically and offset stacked, despite different sizes of goods and support members therefor, such as pallets, whereby wasted volumes arising from the presence of irregular loads, pallets or pallets of different levels or different load ratings in storage and transport can be minimized.
Bulk bin
A bulk bin has a perimeter wall and first and second floor panels hingedly joined to the perimeter wall. Each floor panel is selectively foldable from a stowed position to a deployed position. In some embodiments, the first floor panel has a first tab and a first hole and the second floor panel has a second tab and a second hole. The first tab is configured for being selectively received in the second hole for interlocking engagement with the second floor panel, and the second tab is configured for being selectively received in the first hole for interlocking engagement with the first floor panel to secure the first and second floor panels in the deployed position. In certain embodiments, the perimeter wall includes multiple wall portions foldably joined together. At least two of the wall portions are joined at a fold joint of at least three spaced apart vertical creases.
Container system with interlock and collapsible capabilities
A container system for use with a forklift, includes a plurality of containers, each container including side and end walls and having interlocking structure cooperatively arranged whereby adjacent containers are connectable to each other and a base secured relative to each container. The base is dimensioned to support the container and being adapted to couple with the blade of the forklift to permit placement and transport of the containers in an interlocked relation thereof. Each container may be collapsible to facilitate storage thereof.
PALLET-FREE BULK BIN CONTAINER
A pallet-free bulk bin container comprises an open-ended bulk bin having a frame base at one end. A pair of channel inserts is configured to be engaged with the frame base to form pallet runners. A pair of center-filler supports is configured to enclose one end of the open-ended bulk bin. The bulk bin container may be shipped in a collapsed or knocked-down state and easily assembled into a larger container for use and being disassembled for re-use.
Clip for forming passive locks between container sleeves and bases
A molded plastic clip for attachment to the edge of a container sleeve to form part of a passive lock operable between the sleeve and a base structure such as a molded plastic pallet having a peripheral groove for receiving the edge of the panel. The clip comprises a molded plastic body having two generally planar panels joined at one end by a double hinge that allows the panels to be folded into a parallel condition spaced apart by the geometry of the double hinge wherein the inner surfaces of the panels are provided with integral male and female snap lock features and an outer panel is provided with an integral protruding tab feature near the double hinge to fit into a locking slot or opening in the structure groove. The clips are used in multiples.
SLEEVE PACK ASSEMBLY WITH LATCHING MECHANISM
A sleeve pack assembly with a latching mechanism that can be engaged by an operator's foot when in an upright position. The latching mechanism includes a front facing engagement panel. The engagement panel is connected to a spring element in the pallet and to one or more projections or prongs for engaging and/or disengaging apertures in at least one side of a sleeve.
