Also disclosed is a delivery device including a conveyor mounted downstream from the treatment unit in order to direct the elements towards the work station, the conveyor moving the elements singly. Further disclosed is a corresponding method.

According to one embodiment, a tablet printing apparatus includes: a first rotator having an inner space; a duct configured to communicate with the inner space of the first rotator; a suction pipe configured to suck inside the duct; a second rotator arranged to face the first rotator across the duct; a conveyor belt wrapped around the first rotator and the second rotator; and a print head that performs printing on a tablet held on the conveyor belt. The conveyor belt includes a plurality of suction holes which communicate with the inner space of the first rotator and that of the duct, and are arranged in the rotation direction of the first rotator. The first rotator and the duct constitutes a suction chamber that applies a suction force to those of the suction holes of the conveyor belt located around the outer periphery of the first rotator and the duct.

A system for presenting isolated components to an assembly line over a plurality of cycles includes a container configured to direct components towards a central axis. An elongated pedestal within the container has ribs which define an upper surface and a plurality of channels. The pedestal is reciprocally mounted to move along the central axis, and isolates components during each cycle. The isolated components are transferred to an assembly line. The number of isolated components of each cycle is measured and the value stored. A threshold value is calculated based on a number of stored values. A running average of the quantity of isolated components for a number of cycles can then be compared to the threshold to determine when to refill the component container.

Empties sorting device and empties return system

An empties sorting device includes a sorting table with a table surface, a feed section, and a discharge section. The discharge section has a dividing device with at least one section partition wall. The device further includes a conveying device, which is designed in such a way that the empties can be transferred from the feed section to the discharge section, and a guiding device with a guiding element, designed to be movable at least into a first guiding position associated with a first collecting channel, and a second guiding position associated with a second collecting channel, and a controller designed to control the movement of the guiding element into the first and second guiding positions in accordance with the type of empties. A discharge section partition wall between the collecting channels can be moved parallel to the table surface, thus allowing an associated collecting channel size to be varied.

A container supplying unit is provided with a container storing part, a container discharging part, and a container aligning part. The container aligning part is provided with an aligning rail and a shutter mechanism. The shutter mechanism is provided with a support frame, a rotating shaft, a first shutter member, a second shutter member, and a driver. The first shutter member is fixed to the rotating shaft, and has a first shutter piece which prevents/allows the movement of the container. The second shutter member is fixed to the rotating shaft at a position spaced farther apart from a feeding position than the first shutter member, and has a second shutter piece which prevents/allows the movement of the container.

Parts organizing system and method

A parts organizer receives small parts such as mechanical fasteners in bulk form and organizes a plurality of the parts in a common desired orientation. Unoriented parts are received on top of a parts holder and subsequently moved along an upper side of the parts holder by an agitator. A plurality of receptacles are formed in the parts holder and open on its upper side. Each receptacle is configured to hold one of the parts in the desired orientation and may include a lead-in feature to help reorient the parts as they encounter the receptacles during movement. A retaining wall operates to contain unheld parts at the upper side of the parts holder during a parts organizing step and to allow the agitator to clear unheld parts away from the upper side of the parts holder during a purge step.

A food patty aligning and separating apparatus with a conveyor belt having horizontal cleats extending through a hopper beneath patties. Dividers extend longitudinally through the hopper to form lanes. The conveyor belt's cleats urge patties along lanes up a vertical span of the conveyor, thereby aligning the patties horizontally in a line. The patties pass over a peak and slide down a curved plate to distance the aligned group of patties from a next upstream group of patties. Guide members are spaced from the conveyor belt on hopper side to shear combined patties or pivot outward and cause combined patties to roll back into the hopper.

Disclosed is a device for feeding capsules, including a receiving tray for loose capsules, a raising belt provided with mountings, for circulating capsules upwards, during which the capsules that are incorrectly oriented are returned to the receiving tray, an outlet chute for guiding the capsules to the station being fed, as well as an ejection unit for guiding the capsules into the chute from one side of the raised belt. The chute includes an end portion wherein the capsules circulate under their own inertia and which has a guiding curve with nothing directly opposite, defining the path thereof. Also disclosed is a corresponding method.

Object orienting machine

A machine (1) for orienting objects (T) includes a hopper (2) for receiving the objects (T) in bulk and a belt conveyor (3) with a plurality of small blades to withdraw the objects (T) from the hopper (2). The belt conveyor (3) has an ascending length (5) suitable to select the objects (T) having a predetermined orientation, so that, at the upper end of the ascending length (5) only the objects (T) having all the same predetermined orientation are present on the belt conveyor (3). The small blades form a rest surface facing upwardly in the ascending length (5) and have a plurality of reliefs suitable to prevent free rolling of the objects (T) rested on the rest surface.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING SINGULATION OF OBJECTS FOR PROCESSING

A processing system including a singulation system is disclosed. The singulation system includes a conveying system for moving objects to be sorted from a source area along a first direction, a detection system for detecting objects at the conveying system, and for selecting certain selected objects for removal from the conveying system, and a removal system for removing the certain selected objects from the conveying system for providing a singulated stream of objects.
