FEEDER AND METHOD FOR FEEDING COMPONENTS INTO AN ASSEMBLY LINE
A system for presenting isolated components to an assembly line over a plurality of cycles includes a container configured to direct components towards a central axis. An elongated pedestal within the container has ribs which define an upper surface and a plurality of channels. The pedestal is reciprocally mounted to move along the central axis, and isolates components during each cycle. The isolated components are transferred to an assembly line. The number of isolated components of each cycle is measured and the value stored. A threshold value is calculated based on a number of stored values. A running average of the quantity of isolated components for a number of cycles can then be compared to the threshold to determine when to refill the component container.
PARTS ORGANIZING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A parts organizer receives small parts such as mechanical fasteners in bulk form and organizes a plurality of the parts in a common desired orientation. Unoriented parts are received on top of a parts holder and subsequently moved along an upper side of the parts holder by an agitator. A plurality of receptacles are formed in the parts holder and open on its upper side. Each receptacle is configured to hold one of the parts in the desired orientation and may include a lead-in feature to help reorient the parts as they encounter the receptacles during movement. A retaining wall operates to contain unheld parts at the upper side of the parts holder during a parts organizing step and to allow the agitator to clear unheld parts away from the upper side of the parts holder during a purge step.
Automated vial feed system and method for automated prescription fulfillment
An automated vial feed system for an automated prescription filling system. The system has a plurality of sensors located above a vial distribution table for controlling the pace of vial delivery to the table. The sensors determine the load of vials on the table and a control system uses the information as feedback to the vial delivery system.
DEVICE FOR FEEDING PARTS TO A MANUFACTURING SYSTEM
A device for feeding parts to a manufacturing system, the device includes a housing that with a base at a lower end of the housing and a hopper at an upper end. A double action cylinder drive is fixed to the base of the housing. An end of a piston is fixed to a drive lever in a by a hinge mechanism, and a cam follower is secured to the drive lever with the cam follower spaced apart from the piston rod. Vertically extending spaced apart guide rods are fixed to the base plate inside the housing. each guide ford provided with a linear bearing that slides along the guide rod; and A dynamic part feeding plate that is fixed to a mounting member which in turn is fixed to each of the linear bearings. The mounting member provided with a cam member having a cam profile surface that mates with the cam follower of the driver assembly drive lever to move the dynamic feeding plate vertically through the hopper of the housing along a wall of the hopper.
Device for the treatment of individual sausages
A device for treating individual sausages, including: a sorting device having an endless conveyor belt traveling around a triangular geometry and having rails or carrier bars, on which belt the sausages, which are loosely deposited onto an ascending run of the belt, are distributed individually into the rails or carrier bars; an endless first conveying device with individual rails or carrier bars to accept the sorted sausages, wherein each individual rail or carrier bar accommodates one sausage; a grouping device, in which the sausages delivered by the first conveying device are combined into groups; a second conveying device with receiving sections, each of which accommodates the sausages of one group, and into which the sausages, lying side by side, are transferred from the grouping device; and a transfer device having a gripper device for gripping a sausage group and for transferring and depositing the sausage group into a receiving container.
WORKPIECE SINGULATOR WITH ADJUSTABLE STAIR DEPTH
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a workpiece singulator with one or more movable stairs. A first one of the movable stairs may include an outer step member and an inner step member that is positioned between the outer step member and a second one of the movable stairs. The step members may be movable synchronously as a single stair to transport larger workpieces and asynchronously to transport smaller workpieces on the outer step member. Optionally, the workpiece singulator may further include a sensor configured to detect the size and/or position of a workpiece. In some embodiments, the workpiece singulator may be coupled with a controller configured to control the position of the outer step member independently of the position of the inner step member. In various embodiments, a workpiece singulator as disclosed herein may be operable to selectively singulate workpieces of different sizes.
Postal sorting machine with a feed inlet having a robotized arm and a sloping flat conveyor
The postal sorting machine comprises a sorting conveyor suitable for transporting postal articles in series past sorting outlets and a postal article feed unit having a magazine for loosely storing postal articles to be sorted and a separator that has a robotized arm and a vision sensor and that is suitable for picking up the postal articles to be sorted one-by-one from the magazine and for putting them on the sorting conveyor while placing them in series at constant pitch. The sorting conveyor has a flat conveyor that slopes sideways to form a jogging edge against which the postal articles are jogged by gravity.
Part feeder apparatus
A lower portion is formed in a vicinity of an end portion of a bottom member of a storage container. A lift member configured to lift parts kept on standby on the lower portion is arranged in a state of being movable up and down along an inner wall of the storage container. A transport unit configured to transport the part, which is lifted and transferred thereto by the lift member, to a target position is arranged, and a position at which the parts are to be transferred to the transport unit is set in a vicinity of an upper position of the lift member.
Systems and methods for providing singulation of objects for processing
A processing system including a singulation system is disclosed. The singulation system includes a conveying system for moving objects to be sorted from a source area along a first direction, a detection system for detecting objects at the conveying system, and for selecting certain selected objects for removal from the conveying system, and a removal system for removing the certain selected objects from the conveying system for providing a singulated stream of objects.
Tip Alignment Device
During tip transportation, due to friction between tips and other components or differences in level during delivery, the tips may be caught and the transportation may stop. To solve said problem, the present invention provides a pipette tip alignment device characterized by comprising a supply unit that supplies loaded tips, the supply unit being provided with: two plates; a rail that is disposed at the leading end of the plates and supports the tips; and a rotating body that supplies the tips to the rail provided with grooves for storing the tips, wherein the plates are driven to widen the rail.
