The opening part is fixed with adhesive dots provided in a plurality of rows along a mountain fold line and a fabric end of the fabric, and an average value LA of intervals between adjacent adhesive dots provided within a 3-cm section in a row of adhesive dots that are provided closest to a fabric end side of the opening part is smaller than an average value LB of intervals between adjacent adhesive dots provided within a 3-cm section in a row of adhesive dots that are provided closest to a mountain fold line side of the opening part.

A protective coverall comprising a protective fabric having an outer face and an inner face, the inner face having an antistatic treatment, the protective coverall having a plurality of sleeves each ending in a resilient cuff, with each resilient cuff made from the protective fabric and a plurality of continuous circumferential elastic threads, each resilient cuff comprising a fold of the protective fabric, with the outer face of the protective fabric being folded upon itself to form first and second fold layers, with the plurality of continuous circumferential elastic threads in contact with and being held between fold layers and the inner face of the protective fabric forming both the cuff interior and exterior surface.

A seam pattern is provided. The seam pattern includes a continuous double bar having a first continuous bar and a second continuous bar. The seam pattern further includes at least one discontinuous bar located between the first continuous bar and the second continuous bar. The seam pattern creates a seal when joining a first material with a second material.

Various examples are provided related to attachment of tape or strips of material along a seam of a garment or other material. In one example, among others, a robotic system includes a joining device that can attach a tape or strip of material across a seam, a loading system that can position material with the seam for attachment of the tape or strip of material, a seam feed system that can adjust positioning of the material for attachment, and a tape handling system that can supply the tape or strip of material to the joining head of the joining device for attachment across the seam. A tape handling system can include a tape joining assembly that can receive tape or strip of material from a current tape cartridge and bond it to the tape or strip of material clamped by the tape joining assembly.
