Adaptor (112) for connecting a windscreen wiper unit (10) to a driving arm (26), the adaptor comprising two substantially parallel walls (28) connected together by means of at least one connecting element (30), the said walls having first, inner, side faces (28a) between which the said at least one connecting element extends, and outer side faces (28b), the said adaptor further having at least one stop element which is mounted on one of the said walls and which projects at least partially from the said outer side face of this wall, characterized in that the said at least one element (150) is movable between an operational stop position and a non-operational position.

A connector for a wiper blade, the connector is configured to cooperate pivotably, by a transverse hinge pin, with an adapter designed to allow an articulation link between the blade and a driving arm, the connector includes a body provided with two opposite side flanges, defining a housing designed to receive the adapter, and a pin between the flanges for the articulation link of the blade to the arm, the flanges include, at each of the ends of the hinge pin, a shoulder configured to allow axial guiding of the articulation link between the blade and the arm, the side flanges is configured to allow lateral flexion of the adapter bearing against the shoulder.

Embodiments of a windshield wiper assembly may include a support structure, a wiper blade connector assembly for connecting the support structure with a wiper arm of a vehicle, a wiper blade cover fittable over the wiper blade connector assembly, and a wiper blade strip secured to the underside of the support structure. The connector assembly may include a wiper blade connector, a wiper blade connector cover connected to the wiper blade connector and pivotable between an open position and a closed position, and a wiper blade connector adapter securable between the wiper blade connector and the wiper blade connector cover. The various embodiments of a wiper blade connector assembly permit the embodiments of the wiper blade assembly to be connected with a plurality of wiper arm types.

A multiple windshield wiper assembly is disclosed. The multiple windshield wiper assembly may comprise a first wiper assembly having a squeegee blade; a second wiper assembly having a scraper blade, the second wiper assembly being coupled to the first wiper assembly by a windshield wiper assembly connector; wherein the scraper blade comprises an attachment surface for engaging a wiper assembly, a scraper surface for engaging a windshield, a channel for conducting wiper fluid, a plurality of apertures for disbursement of the wiper fluid onto a windshield, and a water connection fitting for connection of the scraper blade to a vehicle water supply hose. A number of embodiments of a windshield wiper assembly connector for use in connecting one or more windshield wiper assemblies to pin-type and hookslot-type wiper arms are also disclosed.

The invention relates to a cap (17) which is configured to be assembled with a terminal segment (9) of a windscreen wiper arm (5) which is configured to be connected to a windscreen wiper (3), said terminal segment (19having a longitudinal end (11) bearing a transverse pin (13) which is configured to define a pivot axis of the windscreen wiper (3), the cap (17) comprising : an upper part (171) which is configured to cover the terminal segment (9) of the windscreen wiper arm (5) in the assembled state of the cap (17) on said terminal segment (9), a lower part (173), and at least one fixing means (23) which is configured to cooperate with the transverse pin (13).

According to the invention, the lower part (173) of the cap (17) comprises at least one support means (19) which is produced integrally with the cap (17) and which is configured to cooperate with the terminal segment (9) of the windscreen wiper arm (5) for the assembly of the cap (17) with the terminal segment (9).

A multiple windshield wiper assembly is disclosed. A streamlined flat windscreen wiper for a vehicle is disclosed. The flat wiper includes a longitudinal wiper blade, at least one longitudinal stiffening member, a longitudinal member for retaining the wiper blade and the stiffening member, a longitudinal streamlined portion having two terminal caps and a central mounting extending between the terminal caps and being connected thereto. The mounting includes means for fixing to the stiffening member or to the member for retaining the stiffening member, and each cap comprising means for guiding in translation terminal parts of the member.

The windscreen wiper device includes an elastomeric wiper blade that extends in a longitudinal direction. At least one pre-curved longitudinal strip is operably attached with the wiper blade and biases the wiper blade into a curved shape. A connecting device is secured with the at least one strip. The at least one strip includes a pair of tabs that extend longitudinally towards one another and project vertically. The tabs cooperate with the connecting device to secure the connecting device with the at least one longitudinal strip.
