RE-SEALABLE PACKAGES WITH INDEPENDENTLY PEELABLE LIDDING MEMBER PORTIONS
Improved packages and methods for constructing packages are provided that are designed such that the user can peel back a lidding member of the package to reveal an independently peelable portion covering one of the compartments. The independently peelable portion is a layer of the lidding member that maintains the respective compartment in an unopened (sealed) condition until the user independently peels that layer off to access the items in that compartment. The lidding member can be used to re-seal all of the compartments before and/or after the independently peelable portion is removed. The independently peelable portion may include a visual indication of a sealed condition of the compartment that serves as a tamper evidence feature. In multiple-compartment packages, peeling back the lidding member allows the user to access some of the compartments of the package, while at least one of the compartments remains sealed via the independently peelable portion.
RESEALABLE LIDDING FOR RIGID THERMOFORMED TUBS
A resealable package and method for making is provided. The package may comprise a laminate lidding member having an outer structure, an inner structure joined to the outer structure by an adhesive layer, and a pull tab. The laminate includes an outer line of weakness in the outer structure defining a separable opening portion and an inner line of weakness in the inner structure, defining a separable opening portion from the inner portion. The lidding member also comprises a second inner line of weakness formed in the inner structure, disposed between the pull tab and the inner opening portion, partially within the flange seal.

RECLOSABLY SEALED CUP, AND MULTI-LAYER WEB THEREFOR
A reclosably sealed cup, and a multi-layer web and method for production thereof.
Container seal with dual tabs
A container seal that allows a user to select at least one of two or more different sized openings from which to dispense a liquid product from a container. The container seal includes at least a base layer, and may further include a polymer layer attached to the base layer at one or more locations. The container seal may further include a pull tab. Pulling the pull tab forms an opening within the base layer. Various seal configurations allow one, two, or more different sized openings from which to dispense a liquid product from the container depending, for example, on the user's preferred method of dispensing the liquid product from the container. In one configuration, a pull tab may form one, two, or three or more openings in the container seal.
REMOVABLE BOTTOM, FOOD TRAY AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SUCH A FOOD TRAY
A removable bottom adapted to be attached to a lower rim of a food tray in a detachable manner, where the removable bottom comprises a removal tab, where the removal tab is a separate removal tab fixedly attached to the removable bottom by an attachment section. One advantage of the invention is that a food tray having a removable bottom is provided for in an easy and cost-effective way. In this way, a food tray that allows food to be transferred from the bottom of the food tray to a serving surface by removing the bottom is obtained.
FOOD TRAY AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SUCH A FOOD TRAY
A food tray comprising a side wall module and a removable bottom, where the removable bottom comprises a rim section which is attached to a lower rim of the side wall module, where the rim section is fixedly attached to the lower rim of the side wall module and that the removable bottom is provided with a perforation adjacent the rim section, such that the removable bottom can be removed from the rim section by the use of a removal means attached to the removable bottom. One advantage of the method is that a food tray having a removable bottom is provided for in an easy and cost-effective way. In this way, a food tray that allows food to be transferred from the bottom of the food tray to a serving surface by removing the bottom is obtained.
FOOD CONTAINER WITH SEAL-ON COVER
A food container is disclosed that includes a food compartment and a seal-on cover. The food compartment has an outer rim that circumscribes a volume. The food compartment outer rim has tear tab guides that extend outward from the rim. The seal-on cover has a peripheral edge with two portions, the first portion is connected to the rim and the second portion is not connected to the rim and extends past the outer rim forming an overhang. The extended tear tab guides are located adjacent to the overhang and direct the user as to where the tear line begins at the overhang and extends to an opposite side of the peripheral edge. When a user pulls on the overhang, the seal-on cover tears along the tear line and exposes a portion of the volume.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A LAMINATE FOR MAKING CLOSING ELEMENTS FOR CONTAINERS OR RECEPTACLES, LAMINATE AND CONTAINER
A container including a containment wall, defining an internal containment volume and including a free edge, a closing element including a welding layer welded onto the free edge of the wall and a front layer defining an outer surface of the container. An intermediate layer of removable self-adhesive is spread onto an adhesion portion of mutually coupled surfaces of the welding layer and front layer. An opening line adapted to define an access window is obtained through an incision in a stretch of thickness of the welding layer splitting the welding layer into a welding portion adapted to be welded to the container and an opening portion corresponding to the access window, with reference to an assembled configuration on the container. The incision is made to allow the detachment of the opening portion from the welding portion while the closing element is opened.
CAPSULE FOR THE PREPARATION OF A LIQUID FOOD PRODUCT VIA A BREWING MACHINE
A capsule for the preparation of a liquid food product, configured for insertion into a brewing machine, has a body that includes a circumferential wall, a top face, and a bottom. The top face includes a foil, which is secured to an upper flange of the circumferential wall and has at least one grippable portion having a proximal border defined by a corresponding portion of the border of the foil. The foil is circular, and an annulus-shaped peripheral portion thereof, including the corresponding border, is laid over the flange. The grippable portion is defined within an annulus-shaped area of the foil, which is concentric to the foil itself and the outer circumference of which corresponds to the circumference of the foil. At least one of the foil and the flange is configured for enabling application of a pulling force on the grippable portion for removing the foil.
