CO-PRODUCTION OF HYDROGEN-ENRICHED COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS AND CARBON NANOTUBES
The present subject matter relates to co-producing H-CNG and CNTs. The process comprises adding catalyst to a first reactor (110) and activating the catalyst and performing a reaction to obtain H-CNG and CNTs. At a first predetermined time after reaction has progressed in the first reactor (110), catalyst is added to a second reactor (120), activated, and then the reaction proceeds simultaneously in the first reactor (110) and second reactor (120). The use of multiple reactors with staggered start times helps in the continuous co-production of H-CNG and CNTs. Catalyst preparation process is integrated with the co-production process for efficient heat recovery. The first and second reactors are fluidized bed reactors with cantilever trays having weirs for controlling the residence time of the catalyst in the reactor and thereby controlling the purity of CNTs produced.

An exemplary system includes a distillation unit to produce ammonia gas from the aqueous ammonia solution, a compression unit to boost the pressure of the ammonia gas, a membrane separator to catalytically convert the ammonia gas to nitrogen and hydrogen and remove the hydrogen as a permeate, and a micro turbine to combust a retentate to generate energy.
SOLID CARBON PRODUCTION DEVICE AND SOLID CARBON PRODUCTION METHOD
Provided is a solid carbon production facility including: a separation facility configured to separate a carbon dioxide gas contained in a produced gas produced by a blast furnace; a reaction facility configured to heat a fuel gas whose main component is a methane gas by using a heating facility and decompose the methane gas into solid carbon and a hydrogen gas; and a production facility configured to cause the carbon dioxide gas separated by the separation facility and the hydrogen gas decomposed by the reaction facility to react with each other to produce solid carbon and water.
Chemical synthesis plant
A plant, such as a hydrocarbon plant, is provided, which consists of a syngas stage for syngas generation and a synthesis stage where said syngas is synthesized to produce syngas derived product, such as hydrocarbon product. The plant makes effective use of various streams; in particular CO.sub.2 and H.sub.2. The plant does not comprise an external feed of hydrocarbons. A method for producing a product stream, such as a hydrocarbon product stream is also provided.
METHOD AND FACILITY FOR PRODUCING A TARGET COMPOUND
Disclosed is a method for the producingtiona target compoundby oxidative coupling of methane. A starting gas mixture is provided which contains an olefin, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and optionally hydrogen, wherein the olefin is subjected to hydroformylation with the carbon monoxide and the hydrogen of the starting mixture to obtain an aldehyde, wherein the paraffin and the olefin have a carbon chain with a first carbon number and the aldehyde has a carbon chain with a second carbon number which is greater by one than the first carbon number. The carbon dioxide present in the starting mixture is removed upstream and/or downstream of the hydroformylation. The carbon dioxide is subjected to dry reforming with methane to obtain carbon monoxide, and that the carbon monoxide subjected to hydroformylation comprises at least part of the carbon monoxide obtained in the dry reforming .
INTEGRATED HYDROGEN PRODUCTION AND BIO-RENEWABLE CONVERSION PROCESS
A bio-renewable conversion process for making fuel from bio-renewable feedstocks is combined with a hydrogen production process that includes recovery of CO.sub.2. The integrated process uses a purge gas stream comprising hydrogen from the bio-renewable hydrocarbon production process in the hydrogen production process.
METHODS FOR PREPARING HYDROGEN AND SOLID CARBON FROM A GASEOUS HYDROCARBON SOURCE USING MICROWAVES AND/OR RADIO WAVES
Provided are methods for preparing hydrogen and solid carbon. Illustrative methods comprise providing a feedstock comprising gaseous hydrocarbons to a microwave-inert reaction vessel and/or a radio wave-inert reaction vessel. The reaction vessel has solid carbon, about 0% water and about 0% molecular oxygen inside the reaction vessel and the carbon inside the reaction vessel is operable to heat the feedstock comprising gaseous hydrocarbons. The carbon is then exposed to microwaves and/or radio waves until the solid carbon is at a temperature of at least 1200 Kelvin, thereby forming hydrogen and solid carbon. Once formed, the hydrogen and solid carbon are separated.
