PPE WITH ROTATING ASSEMBLY PROVIDING MULTIPLE FACE COVERS
A personal protective device (PPE) comprising a face cover assembly and a bodysuit configured to be worn by a human user. The device protects users against airborne aerosol particles containing viruses or other infectious agents while enabling improved flexibility relative to prior art designs. The device includes a helmet-like” rotating face cover assembly that fits over the user's head and attaches to a collar on the biohazard bodysuit. This rotating face cover assembly has a plurality of different mask sides, each with differing geometries or other properties. The device enables a user to can rotate the cover and select a given mask side that best meets that user's needs. The different mask sides can accommodate different facial geometries, eyewear types, and use cases.
Respirator
A tool, such as a respirator or gas mask, is provided. The respirator includes a body, a filter, an upper and lower strap, and a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism enables quick-release for fitting and/or adjusting the respirator on a user's head or face. In various embodiments, inelastic and elastic properties of the straps and/or a cord in the entwined region of the locking mechanism enhance the quick-release fit and adjustment of the locking mechanism.
Posture saver
The present invention relates generally to a garment for improving body posture that is lightweight, comfortable, discrete, adjustable, and easy to use, while requiring very little material with a low manufacturing cost. The present invention has scapular straps that are made of elastic fabric. One end of the scapular straps connect to a hook-and-loop panel near the waistline on the front of the garment, and the other end of the scapular straps connect to the back of the garment near the shoulder region. The invention has neither an elastic waist band, shoulder pads, nor straps that surround the shoulder and the arm. Since there are no straps surrounding the shoulder, the invention not only allows shorter straps to be used, but also prevents any seams from showing on the front of the garment. This allows the wearer to discreetly wear the posture correcting garment.
STRIP-SHAPED ELASTIC MEMBER AND MASK USING THE SAME
A strip-shaped elastic member, which is adapted for being formed into an ear loop of a mask, includes a first end, a second end opposite to the first end, and a stretchable portion located between the first end and the second end and having a wave structure. When the strip-shaped elastic member is formed into the ear loop of the mask, the wave structure is adapted for contacting the ear of the user wearing the mask, thereby providing comfortable wearing experience to the user. Besides, resulted from the stretchable portion having the wave structure, the strip-shaped elastic member has a relatively larger stretchable length. A mask including a mask body and two ear loops formed from the aforesaid strip-shaped elastic members is disclosed too.

FACE MASK
The face mask includes a main member and a number of fastening elements, respectively connected to two lateral sides of the main member. The main member includes a first ventilatory layer; a first electrostatic layer joined to an outer side of the first ventilatory layer, forming a first space in-between; a second electrostatic layer joined to an outer side of the first electrostatic layer, forming a second space in-between; a second ventilatory layer joined to an outer side of the second electrostatic layer, forming a third space in-between; and the first electrostatic layer and the second electrostatic layer have different densities and different fiber diameters. The air breathed by a user is slowed down as it passes through the first, second, and third spaces, and buffered in the second space, thereby preventing glasses fogging, achieving dual filtrations, and providing both ventilation and substance trapping.
GOWN
A gown is disclosed with an opening in the back extending from the neck area to the bottom creating 2 panels. At least one elastic/flexible/stretchable strap is provided in the neck area of the gown. Each flexible strap has one end attached to each of the 2 panels of the open gown. The gown is designed for the first panel to extend over the second panel and can be weighted to minimize any movement of the first panel away from the second panel. In another embodiment a portion of the first panel extends to the user's side or front area and secured to the side or front of the gown.
Medical garments and accessories with welded elasticized parts and methods of manufacture
A garment or accessory is provided having an elasticized portion, said elasticized portion being free of stitches or holes. The elasticized portion comprises a fabric portion of the accessory or garment to be elasticized; and a length of elastic element. The length of elastic element is applied to the fabric by a means selected from the group consisting of direct welding and indirect welding. A method is provided for elasticizing a fabric, said elasticized fabric being free of stitches or holes. The method involves providing a stack of fabric to be elasticized; stretching and positioning a length of elastic element against a first of the fabric in the stack; applying one or more ends of the elastic element to the fabric by a means selected from directly welding and indirectly welding; moving the first fabric to expose the next fabric in the stack to be elasticized; and repeating the steps for the next fabric.
Garment Assembly
A garment assembly for medical professionals includes a scrub top and a scrub trousers that are configured to be donned by a user. Each of a set of first panels has opposing side edges and a bottom edge that are coupled to one of the scrub top and the scrub trousers to define a first pocket. Each of a set of bands, which are resiliently stretchable, is coupled to a top edge of a respective first panel so that the band is configured to be stretched to insert an article into an associated first pocket and to rebound to retain the article in the associated first pocket.
Convertible garment with integral carrying strap
An outergarment has a shoulder strap attached to an upper portion thereof.
