PROTECTIVE GARMENT FOR ARTICULATIONS OF THE HUMAN BODY
The present invention relates to a protective garment (10) for articulations of the human body, suitable for being used in particular by motorcyclists or cyclists. The protective garment (10) comprises: a flexible base layer (12) which in use is designed to stay close to the body (14) of the user; at least one energy absorbing device (16) positioned at a portion of the flexible base layer (12) which in use is designed to be superimposed to an articulation of the body (14) of the user. The at least one energy absorbing device (16) is connected to the flexible base layer (12) so as to be movable with respect to the flexible base layer (12) if a tangential impact (F) acts on the energy absorbing device (16). According to the invention, the energy absorbing device (16) comprises a slidable layer (18) connected to the flexible base layer (12) by means of at least one fixation member (20).
ATHLETIC GARMENT WITH WEATHER BARRIER INSERT
An athletic garment can protect a user from inclement weather conditions (e.g. wind, moisture, cold, etc.). The athletic garment includes an outer layer forming an article of wearing apparel (e.g., shorts, pants, tights, etc.). The outer layer includes one or more garment forming portions coupled to a waistband and configured to receive the legs of a user. An inner liner is coupled to the waistband. The inner liner includes a front panel and a rear panel, the front panel and the rear panel being joined and configured to receive the legs of the user. The inner liner includes an elongated pocket configured to receive an insert through an opening disposed therein. A weather-resistant insert is configured to removably couple to the pocket, substantially the entirety of the weather-resistant insert being comprised of a pliable textile material, the insert being generally formed to movement of the user.
Impact-resistant padding
An article of apparel for a human being, designed or arranged to be worn around an appendage such as an arm or leg, and designed or intended to resist impact. The article contains a material in the form of a spongy, elastic polymer engineered to absorb energy, shock, vibration and impact. The article of apparel can be used to protect hard, bony areas of the human body such as elbows, knees and ankles. The article will be of use to persons engaged in sports involving bats, sticks, mallets, pucks and hard balls, as well as to cyclists, and anyone whose occupation requires the knees or elbows to come into contact with hard surfaces.
Aerodynamic clothing and accessory for bicycle rider
The present invention discloses an aerodynamic clothing for a bicycle includes a body portion. The aerodynamic clothing also includes a tail portion outwardly extending towards the back of the bicycle. The tail portion is coupled to a bottom end of the body portion using a plurality of securing means. The tail portion being hooked onto an adjustable subframe having an adjustment means configured to secure the extension of the adjustable subframe. The aerodynamic clothing comprises a hook portion attached to a rear side of the subframe for holding the body portion, the hook portion being aligned at the predefined position. The aerodynamic clothing includes a hoodie member attached to a top end of the body portion using the plurality of securing means. The aerodynamic clothing also includes a shield portion present on each side of the shoulder being held by fingers aerodynamically for guiding air flow.
PORTABLE ARTICLE INCLUDING A NUMBER OF PATTERNS
