GAIT BELT
A support belt assists caretaker in moving an ambulatory-impaired person. A strap has a plurality of attachment fixtures such as grommets that are longitudinally spaced and has a buckle for engaging the strap around a torso of an individual. The connector is engageable between a selected two of the attachment fixtures to draw one portion of the strap to closely encircle the ambulatory-impaired person and to form another portion of the strap into a grasping loop. A second support belt can be attached to the strap by two or more belt connector in order to double the portion of the torso encircled or to support buttocks or thigh of the ambulatory-impaired person.
HARNESS EQUIPPED WITH ERGONOMIC CONNECTION POINTS
Harness composed of textiles straps, and having at least one connection and securing point in the form of a closed loop made from textile material delineating an opening for the passage of a connector. The opening of the textile loop is strengthened by a rigid or semi-rigid insert, which is configured to facilitate fitting of a connector, and comprising a base surface securedly attached to the support structure of the harness to transmit and distribute the forces when the user is in the securing position at work. The insert comprises a shell made from plastic material having an inner hole, and guide means for running of the textile loop when the latter is wound inside the shell.
Coverall garment having first spaced-apart belt loops
Apparatus includes a coverall garment having a waist section, and is configured to be worn by a range of users, in which users each respectively have a waist region defining a corresponding respective circumferential waist size. First spaced-apart belt loops are circumferentially affixed to the waist section of the coverall garment, and are configured to selectively receive a belt for a first user which has a first user vertical height that ranges within a first user vertical height range. Second spaced-apart belt loops are positioned relative to the first spaced-apart belt loops, and are circumferentially affixed to the waist section of the coverall garment. The second spaced-apart belt loops are configured to selectively receive the belt for a second user which has a second user vertical height that ranges within a second user vertical height range.
Method and apparatus for rapid evacuation of injured persons from hostile environments
A system and method of evacuating a downed tactical operator from a hostile environment comprising adding an evacuation belt strap to a PALS grid on a body armor vest by using belt keepers. The evacuation belt strap is made by forming loops at the ends of the strap to function as handles to be grasped by rescuers of the downed operator.

Jacket garment for tandem vehicle passenger safety
A novel jacket garment worn by the driver of a tandem vehicle, such as a motorcycle, intended for rear passenger safety is disclosed. The novel garment comprises an outer shell, an inner lining, and an internal frame structure. The internal frame structure comprises a ribbing nexus comprising horizontal and vertical members. Novel features include handgrips disposed inside front pockets and connected to the internal frame structure. In some embodiments, the internal frame structure comprises elastic members. Pocket-borne handgrips may be attached to elastic members so that when engaged by a rear tandem passenger, the internal frame structure is tightened against the tandem vehicle driver's body to provide stain relief and additional stabilization of the jacket as a passenger safety device.
Adjustable body belt having D-rings/attachments
A single and multiple body belt for use by linemen and others engaged in operations on poles or similar structures having at least a primary body belt, which can be disposed below and detachably connected to a secondary body belt in the multiple body belt configuration. The primary body belt and the secondary body belt each have at least one pair of D-rings. The D-rings, which may differ in size, are separated enough to allow a wearer to distinguish between devices that are normally solely attached to one pair of primary D-rings. The body belts (or other portions) may also have an adjustability section through which a belt strap is woven to either extend or shorten the length of the respective belt strap. The adjustability section allows a lineman to further adjust the tightness of the belt (or other portions) around his or her waist to provide improved support and safety.
