In accordance with embodiments of the invention, a wig grip is provided. The wig grip includes an elastomeric body having a hair contact side opposite a wig contact side and a first end opposite a second end. A plurality of hair attachment members disposed along the hair contact side of the elastomeric body. The hair attachment members are operable to attach to the hair of a user. A plurality of grip members is disposed along the wig contact side of the elastomeric body. The grip members are operable to engage and retain an underside of a wig. A fastener is operable to connect said first end of the elastomeric body to said second end of the elastomeric body.

The wig with recloseable part-revealing slit includes a form-fitting wig cap of vented stretch lace having a 0.5″×3″ slit extending posteriorly from the front border to form or optionally reveal a natural center or side part. The wig has comb clips attached to beneath the wig cap on opposite sides of the slit so that the slit may be completely closed by fastening the clips together when 100% coverage of the scalp is needed or desired. Alternatively, the clips may be left unfastened to leave the slit open ⅛″ to 1″ to reveal the natural scalp or hair part, when desired. Wig hair wefts adjacent the slit are also attached beneath the wig cap, and the wig hair is folded over through the slit so that hair wig wefts adjacent the slit are not visible while wearing the wig, leaving a hair part with a natural appearance.

A frontal wig for use on the front of a person's head is provided. The frontal wig may include multiple base layers including at least one base layer with a mesh surface for attachment of hair filaments, and at least one base layer including an adhesive surface for mating to the person's head. The frontal wig may include a securing band attached to the base layers at side ends of the base layers, the securing band provided for attaching the frontal wig to the head. The frontal wig may include multiple hair filaments attached to the mesh layer.

The mesh element is transparent and affixed to inboard portions of the securement elements. The outboard portions may be configured to be placed into releasable gripping engagement with one another by way of mutually-engageable complementary fastener elements. The securement members each include a forward edge and an opposing rearward edge. The mesh element may include a frontal segment having a forward periphery. The forward periphery is preferably in alignment with the forward edges. The mesh element may include a parting-line segment extending oppositely of the forward periphery. The width of the frontal segment may be greater than the corresponding width of the parting-line segment. Moreover, the parting-line segment may include a rearward periphery in alignment with the rearward edges.

A protective covering for a person's hair covers the hair with a slack foundation and is secured by a form fitting band, the form fitting band serving as a perimeter base of the foundation. The foundation includes a plurality of hair-receiving guidelines, which indicate hair placement for hair strands. The guidelines are positioned across the foundation. The band is preferably Lyrca, such that it can fit different head sizes of different persons. To help improve the fit, a retaining strap is provided for each temporal region, as well as ergonomic contours along the band that conform to a person's ears. Within the foundation is an enclosed region, including head-receiving portion and voluminous hair-protecting portion. The latter portion ensures sufficient space to protect and maintain a person's natural hair and hairstyle. An internal netting helps to catch shedding hairs while a drawstring in the band allows for tightness to be adjusted.
