Saline glycerine wastewater treatment system and technology
The present invention discloses a saline glycerine wastewater treatment system and technology. The whole technological process mainly includes a reaction process, an evaporation process, a crystallization process, a filtration process and a drying process. The present invention first proposes the use of an “ammonia-alkali reaction principle” to treat high-salt glycerine wastewater, which mainly solves the problem of treating a large amount of calcium chloride-containing glycerine wastewater produced in the production process of propylene oxide and epichlorohydrin in chlor-alkali industry, and places emphasis on solving the problems that low value-added calcium chloride produced in the wastewater treatment process of a traditional method has low quality, is basically accumulated as solid waste and is difficult to treat, and chloride ions have adverse effects on the biochemical process of wastewater treatment. By-products of high-quality calcium carbonate and ammonium chloride products have high economic benefits and social environmental protection benefits.
WASTEWATER TREATMENT APPARATUS
An apparatus for the treatment of wastewater having: a primary treatment module with at least one solids separation filter; a secondary treatment module with at least one microflotation unit and at least one oxidation treatment unit placed downstream of the at least one microflotation unit, the at least one oxidation treatment unit has an advanced oxidation process module for performing chemical processes, the advanced oxidation process module performing an ozone and hypochlorite treatment; a tertiary treatment module including at least one membrane filtration unit; the apparatus provided with sequentially flowing wastewater from the primary treatment module, through the secondary treatment module, and to the tertiary treatment module. A method for wastewater treatment in an apparatus having as sequentially treating wastewater through the primary treatment module, the secondary treatment module, and the tertiary treatment module.
HYPOCHLORITE COMPOSITIONS, METHODS OF MANUFACTURE AND USES THEREOF
The present invention relates to a family of very stable aqueous hypochlorite products and methods for reducing the self reactivity of Ca(OCl).sub.2.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTINUOUS SEPARATION OF SOLID PARTICLES FROM SOLID-LIQUID SLURRIES
A water treatment system is configured to remove salt from a feed brine. The water treatment system includes a primary freezing chamber configured to receive the feed brine and a source of cooled intermediate cold liquid connected to the primary freezing chamber. The cooled intermediate cold liquid and feed brine are mixed within the primary freezing chamber, where ice particles are formed. The water treatment system includes a rotary separator connected to a discharge from the primary freezing chamber. The rotary separator is configured to separate solid ice particles from liquid components in the discharge from the primary freezing chamber. In some embodiments, the rotary separator includes a mesh inner filter tube that is configured for rotation within a solid outer filter tube, where the mesh inner filter tube allows liquid components to drain into the outer filter tube while conveying solid ice particles to an ice recovery tank.
RAINWATER PROCESSING SYSTEM AND PROCESSING STEPS FOR PRODUCING POTABLE FUNCTIONAL WATER
A method and rainwater processing system are disclosed. According to one aspect, a method includes collecting rainwater, filtering the collected rainwater, and ozonating the filtered collected rainwater to produce potable water. The method includes preparing a functional water, the preparing including adding a salt concentrate to at least a portion of the potable water within a processing tank to create a mixture.
CLEAN WATER FOR BATHING AND MEDICAL TREATMENTS
An easily adaptable or do-it-yourself (DIY) installation water cleaning device on any existing spa or pool is provided herein. The cleaning device includes an electrolysis module equipped with a particular boron-doped diamond electrode on silicum substrate. The foregoing also relates to a method to clean water on spa or pools using a water cleaning device that includes particular boron-doped diamond electrode present on the elecrolysis module. The foregoing also relates to electrolyzed bathing water for use in the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the skin and for use for use in the treatment of wound healing of the skin.
Depth filters for disposable biotechnological processes
A process for the primary clarification of feeds, including chemically treated flocculated feeds, containing the target biomolecules of interest such as mAbs, mammalian cell cultures, or bacterial cell cultures, using a primary clarification depth filtration device without the use of a primary clarification centrifugation step or a primary clarification tangential flow microfiltration step. The primary clarification depth filtration device contains a porous depth filter having graded porous layers of varying pore ratings. The primary clarification depth filtration device filters fluid feeds, including chemically treated flocculated feeds containing flocculated cellular debris and colloidal particulates having a particle size distribution of approximately about 0.5 μm to 200 μm, at a flow rate of about 10 litres/m.sup.2/hr to about 100 litres/m.sup.2/hr. Kits and methods of using and making the same are also provided.
Metal recovery process
The invention relates to a process for recovering metals from aqueous solutions or solid feedstocks such as ores and waste. In particular, the invention relates to a method of recovering a target metals using a microorganism.
Process to provide source water and manage produced/flowback water for hydraulic fracturing
A method and system of providing source water and managing produced/flowback water during a hydraulic fracturing process in an oil and gas operation. The process is an environmentally friendly method of reducing use of fresh water and recycles frac water. The net result is that a volume of frac water is properly managed. Thus, less reliance on transportation vehicles and trucks reduces costs as well as reduction of piping systems. It further reduces a threat of seismic events from disposing of produced water and flowback.
Leak detection assembly for use with a filter assembly for a refrigerator appliance
A filter assembly and a method of operating the same to detect water leaks are provided. The filter assembly includes a filter housing for receiving a filter cartridge and at least partially defining a drain trough positioned below the filter cartridge for collecting leaked water. A light source is positioned proximate the drain trough for directing light through the drain trough and a light sensor is positioned proximate the drain trough for sensing the light directed through the drain trough. A controller uses the light sensor to monitor the light generated by the light source and determines that a leak exists when an intensity of sensed light is reduced by the leaked water.
