A method for treating a circulating water in a wet paint booth, the method including adding a treatment agent including an aqueous solution including a tannin and an alkali metal hydroxide and/or an alkali metal carbonate to the circulating water in any of passages for the circulating water in the wet paint booth, wherein the passages include for supplying the circulating water from a water tank to a paint booth, for collecting an uncoated paint in the circulating water, and for returning the circulating water to the water tank; to detackify the uncoated paint collected in the circulating water.

Pallet coating waste recovery system
The present invention relates to a self-contained unit having a system for recovering polymer overspray from a pallet coating process. The self-contained unit includes a common enclosure having at least four walls, a ceiling and a floor. There is a collection tank located below the floor of the common enclosure and a roof platform is located above the ceiling of the common enclosure. Within the common enclosure is at least one spray booth having a waterfall wall with liquid flowing down a face of the waterfall wall to the collection tank. Mounted on the roof platform is a consolidation tank, hydrocyclone and pressure filter that are all part of the system for removing the polymer from the overspray mixture collected at the collection tank.

Fusion proteins containing a targeting sequence, an exosporium protein, or an exosporium protein fragment that targets the fusion protein to the exosporium of a Bacillus cereus family member are provided. Recombinant Bacillus cereus family members expressing such fusion proteins are also provided. Genetically inactivated Bacillus cereus family members and recombinant Bacillus cereus family members that overexpress exosporium proteins are also provided. Seeds coated with the recombinant Bacillus cereus family members and methods for using the recombinant Bacillus cereus family members (e.g., for stimulating plant growth) are also provided. Various modifications of the recombinant Bacillus cereus family members that express the fusion proteins are further provided. Fusion proteins comprising a spore coat protein and a protein or peptide of interest, recombinant bacteria that express such fusion proteins, seeds coated with such recombinant bacteria, and methods for using such recombinant bacteria (e.g., for stimulating plant growth) are also provided.
PALLET COATING WASTE RECOVERY SYSTEM

Method for purging paint circuits and waterborne purge cleaner
Described herein is a method for purging paint circuits coated with a non-cured paint with improved cleaning efficiency and a reduced COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) in the wastewater, where a paint circuit is brought into contact with a waterborne purge cleaner solution including at least one glycolether and which additionally includes at least one water-soluble amine having at least 7 carbon atoms. Also described herein is a waterborne purge cleaner solution with improved cleaning efficiency and reduced VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) content as well as a concentrate for producing the purge cleaner solution.
Mobile system and method for separating water and paint
A first 5-gallon bucket with a drain, drain plug and drainpipe and a second 5-gallon bucket with a lid having an opening. In combination, the pair of 5-gallon buckets facilitate the separation of water and paint allowing the proper disposal of the paint. One method of using the 5-gallon buckets involves: (i) pouring paint water into the first 5-gallon bucket; (ii) adding aluminum sulfate and hydrated lime; (iii) waiting for the aluminum sulfate and hydrated lime to separate the paint and water with the paint collecting at the bottom of the bucket; (iv) positioning the first 5-gallon bucket atop the second 5-gallon bucket with the drain aligned with the lid opening; and (v) pushing the drainpipe down allowing water to enter the upper opening of the drainpipe and pour into the second bucket; and (vi) stopping efforts to push down the drainpipe before paint begins to enter the drainpipe.
