METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR REMEDIATING CYANURIC ACID IN AQUEOUS LIQUIDS
The present disclosure is generally related to the fields of biology, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, molecular biology, enzymology, chlorinated water treatment processes and the like. More particularly, certain embodiments are related to reducing cyanuric acid concentrations in aqueous liquids, such as chlorinated swimming pool water, chlorinated hot tub water and the like.
Swimming Pool Chemical Dispenser
A swimming pool chemical dispenser includes a main body having an accommodating cavity formed therein for storing chemical tablets, an upper cover which covers the upper opening of the main body, and a tablet clamp having a clamping end penetrating downward through the upper cover and abutting against the chemical tablets. The tablet clamp is provided with scales. The tablet clamp descends along with the dissolution of the chemical tablets and the amount of residual chemical tablets can be visually and reliably determined from the scales on the tablet clamp for timely refill. The tablet clamp is placed on the main body, thus making it convenient for the user to replace the chemical tablets bare-handed without touching the chemical tablets, which is much safer and more environmentally friendly.
Liquid Medium Purification and Stirring Device
The present invention relates to a liquid and drink purification and stirring device. The device is handheld and can be used for a variety of liquid drinks, such as water, juices and wines. The device is designed like a stirring rod or straw and has the material composition that enables the device to attract and adhere various solutes thereto when suspended in liquid mediums. The device features an elongated wand and a handle. The wand is made from food-grade copper and when submerged in a liquid, attracts unnatural solutes, and kills pathogens such as bacteria, algae, viruses and many more. The handle can be made from any food grade and FDA approved material and can be integrated or removably-attached to the wand. The device is also used for stirring the liquid and enables consumers to play a greater role in managing their own health and to prohibit consumption of pathogens
Filter aids
The present disclosure includes compositions and methods for filtering a liquid, e.g., water. The compositions herein may include a filter aid comprising a filter medium and packaging having at least one water-soluble portion. When the filter aid is introduced into the liquid to be filtered, the water-soluble portion(s) may dissolve or otherwise degrade in order to expose the filter medium to the liquid.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL SOLID AND DISSOLVING WATER-TREATMENT COMPOSITION FOR POOLS AND SPAS
Described herein are solid compositions for water treatment of swimming pools and spas. The solid composition comprises, in a single solid product in the form of a tablet, puck, briquette, a capsule, powder mix or the like, a combined source of a plurality of chemical compounds such as chlorine, algaecide, clarifier and pH adjuster. In embodiments the solid composition comprises at least a combination of (i) a source of chlorine for killing bacteria and (ii) a neutralizer for ensuring a proper pH balance. In embodiments the solid composition is be formulated as a bilayer. In embodiments the solid composition is formulated as a bilayer, a first layer comprising sodium dichloroisocyanurate (NaDCC) and a second layer comprising trichloroisocyanuric acid (TCCA).
WATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A water treatment system is provided. The system includes a container holding a reactant liquid within the container. The system further includes an electrode capsule removably retained within the container and submerged in the reactant liquid. The electrode capsule operates to generate reactant gas by operating within the reactant liquid. The system includes a cap releasably coupled to an opening of the container. The cap includes a nozzle that allows flow of reactant gas out of the container to treat an amount of water.

Device comprising a reactor facility and method for the electrolytic treatment, with relation to flow dynamics, of fluid or gaseous media or mixtures of the two in the reactor facility, and use of the device and the method
The invention relates to a device consisting of a reactor facility for the electrolytic treatment, with relation to flow dynamics, of fluid or gaseous media or mixtures of the two. In the context of this invention, electrolytic treatment with relation to flow dynamics means the combination of the production of at least one rotating fluid eddy and the eversion of the eddy by means of electrolysis taking place in the reactor facility. The guided fluid eddy is efficiently treated, cleaned and disinfected by this combination in the reactor facility according to the invention. The invention further relates to a method for the electrolytic treatment, with relation to flow dynamics, of fluid media in the reactor facility according to the invention.
Filter for a filtration device
A filter, for insertion into an inlet duct of a water filtration system, has an annular upper end delimiting an opening around a longitudinal axis and defining a filter diameter. A side wall extends, around the longitudinal axis, between the annular upper end and a bottom wall that extends opposite the opening. The side and/or bottom walls have orifices to allow water to flow therethrough while retaining solid elements. The sidewall wall comprises a plurality of arms that each extend between a lower edge, connected to the bottom wall, and an upper edge forming part of the annular upper end. Each arm extends along an adjustable inclination so that the filter diameter is variable according to the inclination of each arm. When the filter is inserted into the inlet duct, the inclination of the arms is adjusted so that the filter diameter is adapted to the inlet diameter.
