CHEMICAL DISPENSERS FOR PROLONGED WATER TREATMENT
Chemical dispensers are provided that include a hollow body member including a bottom end configured to be disposed below a waterline and a top end configured to be disposed above the waterline. The hollow body member defines an interior space disposed between the bottom end and the top end that is configured to accept, through the top end, and hold therein a dissolvable chemical. The dispenser includes a buoyancy member surrounding the hollow body member and configured to provide buoyancy to the dispenser when placed in a body of water such that a first portion of the interior space remains above the waterline and a second portion of the interior space submerges below the waterline. An opening in the hollow body member allows sufficient water flow into the interior space below the waterline such that dissolution or partial dissolution of the dissolvable chemical below the waterline occurs.
DRAIN PROTECTOR
A drain protector includes a basket and a wiper. The basket includes a basket body having first water openings. The basket body includes a seal at an upper first end and a retention member at a lower second end. The basket body is sized to be received in an associated drain, the seal for directly sealingly engaging an outer surface of the associated drain, and the retention member for directly engaging an inner surface of the associated drain. The wiper includes a wiper body having second water openings. The wiper body is removably mounted within the basket body for entrapping debris within water and removing the debris from within the basket body.
CERIUM OXIDE NANOPARTICLE, DISPERSION BODY, OXIDANT, ANTIOXIDANT, AND METHOD OF PRODUCING CERIUM OXIDE NANOPARTICLE
A cerium oxide nanoparticle is produced by mixing a solution of an aromatic heterocyclic compound having no substituent or at least one substituent selected from the group consisting of a methyl group, an ethyl group, an amino group, an aminomethyl group, a monomethylamino group, a dimethylamino group, and a cyano group and containing 2 to 8 carbon atoms and 1 to 4 nitrogen atoms in a ring structure of the aromatic heterocyclic compound, with a solution containing a cerium (III) ion or with a cerium (III) salt, followed by addition of an oxidant.
NEGATIVE OXYGEN ION WATER BATH APPARATUS
The present disclosure discloses an NOI water bath apparatus, which includes an NOI generator, a GLM and a GLS, where the NOI generator includes an ionization module, and the ionization module is configured to ionize oxygen into NOIs; an air inlet end of the GLM is connected to an air outlet end of the NOI generator, the GLM includes a gas-liquid mixing module, and the gas-liquid mixing module is configured to dissolve the NOIs generated by the ionization module; a liquid inlet end of the GLS is connected to a liquid outlet end of the GLM, the GLS includes a first filtering module, and the first filtering module is configured to filter out exhaust gas in the gas-liquid mixing module.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT DISINFECTION APPARATUS, CONTROL BOX AND MASSAGE POOL
Disclosed is an ultraviolet light disinfection apparatus mounted on a water pipe that is connected to a massage pool. The ultraviolet light disinfection apparatus comprises: a housing mounted on the water pipe and in closed connection with the water pipe; a PCB disposed inside the housing and provided with a UVC-LED light source and a wire, the wire protruding from the housing to connect to the power source; an ultraviolet light-transmitting body disposed on the housing, such that ultraviolet light at UVC wavelength range produced by the UVC-LED light source can enter into water body inside the water pipe through the ultraviolet-transmitting body. The present invention can disinfect the water body inside the water pipe. Also provided are a control box and a massage pool.
Sand Filter LED Status Light
A system for treating water for use in aquatics or recreational facilities is disclosed. The system includes a media filter vessel, a pressure sensor, and a monochromatic light source. A method of treating water for use in aquatics or recreational facilities is also disclosed. The method includes fluidly connecting a media filter vessel to a source of water for use in aquatics or recreational facilities, illuminating a media inside the media filter vessel, observing a monochromatic light source display a first indicator and observing a monochromatic light source display a second indicator. A method of retrofitting a media filter vessel is also disclosed. The method includes installing a pressure sensor on the media filter vessel, installing a monochromatic light source and operably connecting the monochromatic light source to a manual control and to the pressure sensor.
HYBRID FILTER ASSEMBLY AND METHOD
A two-stage filter enclosed within a single vessel is provided. The two-stage filter is provided in the form of the vessel having a first filtration stage configured to capture particles of a first size, and a second filtration stage downstream of the first filtration stage and in fluid communication with the first filtration stage configured to capture particles of a second size, wherein the first size is larger than the second size. The first filtration stage may comprise a porous media. The second filtration stage may comprise one or more membrane filters.
Methods, systems, and devices for providing communications capabilities to equipment of swimming pools and spas
Communications capabilities are supplied to components of pool water recirculation systems, even if the components lack electrical power or supply wires. Capabilities may be furnished by wireless RF devices that connect to existing fittings or ports of the components, for example. The devices are configured to obtain desired information relating to the components (or the water within them) and transmit the information remotely for processing or consideration.
ELECTROLYTIC CHLORINATOR WITH INDIVIDUALLY REPLACEABLE ELECTRODES AND METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR USE THEREOF
A chlorinating system includes an electrode assembly comprising a plurality electrode blades, a cap electrically and mechanically coupled to the electrode assembly, and a housing for enveloping the electrode assembly in an interior compartment of the housing. The housing exposes the electrode assembly to an inlet and outlet of the housing. The cap is removable from the housing and allows for the individual replacement of single electrode blades forming the electrode blade assembly.
METHODS FOR REMOVING BIURET FROM A LIQUID
Described herein are methods for eliminating biuret from an environment such as a body of water, through treatment with an effective amount of a hypochlorite. Additionally described herein are methods of eliminating biuret resulting from enzymatic degradation of CYA in an aqueous solution.
