20200155969 · 2020-05-21 ·

An apparatus and method for automated decantation of multi-phase fluid is disclosed. The apparatus for two phase fluid comprises a fluid line assembly, a floating marker, a sensor, an actuator assembly and a control board. The fluid line is attached to a reservoir containing the multi-phase fluid, comprising an inlet and two outlets. A three-way valve is disposed between the inlet and the two outlets. The floating marker is disposed within a cylindrical frame mounted within the reservoir. The selective density of the float marker is selected between the density values of two fluids in the multi-phase fluid. The float-marker floats between the two fluid phases due to the density of the float marker and fluid. The actuator assembly, configured to operate inlets and outlets of the fluid line. The number of outlets, sensor, and floating marker increases with the number of phases of fluid.

The waste separating system includes a compacting assembly, a liquid diverting assembly, and a controller configured to control aspects of the compacting assembly and the liquid diverting assembly. The waste separating system can divert waste liquid from a manufacturing assembly to a liquid diverting assembly, where a controller is configured to selectively control a flow of the waste liquid to a drain or to a storage tank.

Device and method for large-scale flow solidification treatment of dredged sediment in pipeline without yard
20240067552 · 2024-02-29 ·

The present invention discloses a device and a method for large-scale flow solidification treatment of dredged sediment in a pipeline without a yard. The device includes a dredger, a treatment unit and a use terminal that are communicated in sequence, where the dredger is connected with the treatment unit by adopting transportation units, a mud pump is arranged between the transportation units and the dredger to provide power, a plurality of transportation units are communicated in sequence by adopting relay pumps, the treatment unit includes a mixing system, a monitoring system and a data processing and control system, and the device is also provided with an air pump. The method for the flow solidification treatment of the sludge in the pipeline, provided in the present invention, fundamentally changes the mode where the traditional dredging engineering needs to set up a large number of sludge yards first, and then uses solidification treatment equipment for stirring and mixing treatment, which saves land, and does not have the problem of environmental pollution of yards, and therefore, the method has wide applicability; and a device and a method for mixing sludge and a solidifying material in a pipeline are provided, the injection speed of a solidifying agent is precisely controlled, the mixing effect is good, the emphasis is on the grading and judging standards of pipelines, and corresponding solutions are given

Methods and systems for separating solid particulates from waste water

A method for separating solid particulates from waste water includes receiving a first stream of waste water, and adjusting a specific gravity of the received waste water to within a pre-selected range. The method also includes channeling the adjusted waste water to a first hydro-cyclone system. The first hydro-cyclone system separates a first portion of solid particulates from the adjusted waste water. The method further includes transferring the first portion of solid particulates to a vibrating dewatering screen. The vibrating dewatering screen separates residual water from the first portion of solid particulates.

HYDROXIDE STABILIZATION AS A MEANS OF CONTROLLING SURFACE FOULING ASSOCIATED WITH WETTED SURFACES OF BOATS BARGES AND SHIPS

The invention is an immersion system for decontamination of ship outer surfaces while a ship is located in a lock structure. The lock structure is modified with an inflatable bladder and shortened containment gates. When the ship enters or exits the lock structure, the inflatable bladder is deflated before opening the containment gates. When the inflatable bladder is deflated, a lower treated fluid layer sinks and water adjacent to the lock structure enters the lock through wall ports to create an upper fluid layer on which the ship enters. When the ship is located in the lock structure and the containment gates are closed, the inflatable bladder is inflated. When the inflatable bladder is inflated, the lower treated fluid layer rises and surrounds the ship surface to kill invasive aquatic species.

Sludge dewatering system

A sludge dewatering system includes: a concentration apparatus that concentrates sludge while conveying the sludge on a top surface of a filter body; and a dewatering apparatus that subjects the sludge discharged from the concentration apparatus to pressure dewatering. The concentration apparatus includes: a filtering unit that subjects the sludge, which has been added with a first chemical agent, to gravity filtration; a chemical feeder that adds a second chemical agent to the sludge conveyed in the filtering unit; and a moving mechanism that moves the sludge, which has been added with the second chemical agent, in a direction intersecting a conveyance direction of the filter body.

Skimmer and oil water separator

A skimmer for removing a layer of oil floating on a surface oil contaminated water which subsequently concentrated and separated in an oil water separator which removes tramp oils or other fluids, such as hydraulic oils, with specific gravity less than that of the operating fluid are required to be removed from operating fluid such as water, lubri-coolants or other liquids. The skimmer supplies concentrated oil water composite fluid to a separator apparatus designed for use in industrial applications in which unwanted tramp oils or other fluids, such as hydraulic oils, with specific gravity less than that of the operating fluid are required to be removed from operating fluid such as water, lubri-coolants or other liquids.
