Self-contained water system

A self-contained water system that provides single point water delivery is presented. The self-contained water system purifies incoming water and restructures the purified water to deliver pure, alkaline, ionized, mineral-rich water. A first stage purification of water may be performed via pre-filtering and reverse osmosis stages that sequentially remove larger and smaller particles in the water prior to storing first stage purified water into a holding tank. A second stage purification of water is performed via a closed loop purification system that sanitizes water in the holding tank so as to kill microorganisms in the water. Restructuring of the purified water in the holding tank is performed via a water conditioner stage that remineralizes the water prior to providing for end use. Water in the holding tank can be oxygenized via a vortexing device that operates on the water in the holding tank in a closed loop fashion.

A magnetic water treatment system for use in treating water for agricultural and other uses. A magnetic column centered around a perforated shearing tube provides a number of magnets amplified by steel rods to deliver water that has smaller water clusters by treating the water with the application of magnetic fields. Magnetic fields perpendicular to the travel of water and in other directions provide for the efficient treatment of the water.

METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND COMPOSITIONS FOR DELIVERY OF NANOBUBBLES IN WATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS

Methods, systems, and devices for water treatment or for preventing fouling of components of water treatment systems can include the upstream introduction of nanobubbles in-line and/or in close proximity to a reverse osmosis membrane in the water treatment system. The nanobubbles can bind to and cluster (flocculate) nanoparticles (and possible larger solid particles) so that they can be removed and not foul water purification components such as reverse osmosis membranes. The nanobubbles can also interact with and change some characteristics of nanoparticles and thereby reduce fouling of some system components, such as reverse osmosis membranes, or other components. The systems, methods, and devices disclosed herein can help produce potable water safe for human consumption in a more cost-effective manner, e.g., by reducing maintenance costs and in some cases manufacturing costs.

Method and installation for ozone treatment of wastewater

A method and an installation for treating a main wastewater stream flowing in a closed conduit with a flow direction. The method includes the steps of: introducing a liquid into at least one pre-treatment stream; generating a gas stream containing ozone gas; introducing the gas stream into the at least one pre-treatment stream, each with a gas injector, resulting in at least one mixed-phase stream comprising ozone laden gas and liquid; passing the at least one mixed-phase stream through at least one static mixer, resulting in a predefined gas bubble size; and injecting the at least one mixed-phase stream in the main wastewater stream perpendicular to the flow direction.

Methods and Systems for Sizing Waste Solids

Methods and systems for reducing an average particle size of blackwater solids is disclosed. A vessel is configured to receive a blackwater stream through a one-way inlet. The one-way inlet is configured to allow the blackwater stream into the vessel and prevent backflow. The blackwater stream contains blackwater solids and water. A device in a bottom portion of the vessel is configured to receive the blackwater and comminute the blackwater solids. A recirculating pump is configured to recirculate the blackwater stream under pressure through the device until the average particle size of the blackwater solids is reduced below a size threshold, resulting in a sized blackwater stream.

System and method for liquid disinfection

The efficiency of water disinfection can be significantly increased by supplying the ozone in combination with oxygen to an inlet of a cavitation pump or a line atomizer. A compressor can be introduced at an inlet of the cavitation pump or the line atomizer, compressing the gas mixture at a pressure higher than the pressure within pump or the atomizer. The compressed gases are provided to the inlet of the atomizer or the pump, where the compressed gases mix with the water and enter the cavitation pump or the line atomizer (where most of the dissolution of the gases happens). The compressor allows to increase the amount of oxygen and ozone provided to the pump or the line atomizer, increasing their dissolved concentration. In addition to the disinfecting properties, the higher level of oxygen correlates to an improved taste of the water.
