Interactive therapeutic devices for wear on a head of a user are provided herein, along with kits including the interactive therapeutic device and an activity book, and methods of using the devices and kits. Contemplated devices comprise a set of attachment points that removably couple with a set of patches via fastener components. The patches can include various types of patches that provide different benefits to the wearer, including style, a scent, a noise, a tactile sensation, protection, and/or the ability to better communicate a feeling and/or a need.

A device including a crown or dome section having a proximate upper portion, a proximate lower portion, and a proximate bottom end portion, in which the proximate bottom end portion comprises an interior and outer surface area; a ring segment having a plurality of holes or vent in a mesh pattern that is configured to allow airflow or ventilation; an aperture portion that is configured to be operable for allowing the hair to project out an interior of the crown or dome section to generally prevent hat hair; a hem segment that is configured to be operable for preventing hair from snagging and tangling upon the aperture portion; and an interior padding portion configured to cover and pad the interior surface area of the proximate bottom end portion to provide comfort during wear.

A head cover that can be worn by health care professionals is provided. The head cover includes a surgical cap portion and a bouffant cap portion. The surgical cap portion includes a top surface and a side panel secured to the top surface via a seam. Further, the bouffant cap portion is secured to a rear portion of the side panel, where the bouffant cap portion is maintained against the rear portion of the side panel in an undeployed state and is deployable from the rear portion of the side panel to contain a wearer's hair. As such, the head cover enables a wearer to secure his or her hair inside the bouffant cap as needed, yet bouffant cap portion does not cover the wearer's entire head, which minimizes the amount of heat that is trapped within the head cover and increases the level of comfort for the wearer.

The surgical cap portion includes a top surface and a side panel secured to the top surface via a seam. The hair covering is made of lightweight fabric such as thin nylon often used for windbreaker jackets, and thus the hair covering is termed a hair windbreaker. The hair windbreaker is especially beneficial for women with long hair, especially those who have just had an expensive salon styling and do not wish to muss their hair up. The hair windbreaker has an adjustably-sized head opening and may have an adjustably-sized hair opening.

The medical support headwear device includes one or more side panels, each side panel including an internal layer attached to an external layer to form a pocket therein, and an access point formed in each of the side panels to provide access to the pocket.

The present invention is directed toward a hood adjusting mechanism for improving the fit and adjustability of a hood over a wearer's head when worn by the wearer and may include a hood portion with a generally circumferential opening, a first and second aperture, and a first and second channel. In addition, the hood adjusting mechanism may further include a first and second continuous cord that extend through the first and second channels, exit at the first and second apertures, and are releasably secured by a tightening mechanism.
