METHODS FOR CAMERA MOVEMENT COMPENSATION
20230212064 · 2023-07-06 ·

A method, system, apparatus, and/or device for adjusting or removing frames in a set of frames. The method, system, apparatus, and/or device may include: associating a first frame of a set of frames with motion data that is captured approximately contemporaneously with the first frame; when a sampling rate of the motion data is greater than a frame rate of the set of frames, aggregating a first sample of the motion data captured at the first frame and a second sample of the motion data captured between the first frame and a second frame of the set of frames to obtain a movement value; when the movement value does not exceed a first threshold value, accepting the first frame from the set of frames; and when the movement value exceeds the first threshold value, rejecting the first frame from the set of frames.

Coated glass article, method of making the same, and photovoltaic cell made therewith

A coated glass article includes a glass substrate. A coating is formed on the glass substrate. The coating includes a first coating layer. The first coating layer includes fluorine doped tin oxide. A second coating layer is provided between the glass substrate and the first coating layer. The second coating layer includes silicon dioxide and at least one of phosphorus and boron. The coated glass article exhibits a haze of 2.0% or less.

COLOR PANEL, HOME APPLIANCE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE COLOR PANEL

A color panel having a customized color, a home appliance including the same, and a method of manufacturing the color panel. The color panel according to an embodiment includes a transparent substrate, a color layer, a transparent layer formed between the color layer and the transparent substrate to adhere the color layer to the transparent substrate, and a white layer formed on the color layer to provide a background color.

AUTOMOTIVE GLAZING WITH ANTI-FINGERPRINT COATING

Due to the increased glazed area of modern vehicles, especially the large panoramic glass roofs, we have seen a substantial growth in the use of anti-reflective coatings. Unfortunately, these types of coatings accentuate fingerprints and smudges. The invention provides an automotive glazing which is substantially resistant to fingerprints, and a method of manufacture thereof through the application of an anti-fingerprint coating based on low surface energy silanes.

Low contrast anti-reflection articles with reduced scratch and fingerprint visibility

Embodiments of articles including a low-contrast anti-reflection coating are disclosed. The coated surface of such articles exhibits a reduced difference in reflectance between a pristine state and when a surface defect is present. In one or more embodiments, the coated surface of such articles exhibits a first average reflectance in the range from about 0.6% to about 6.0% in a pristine condition and a second average reflectance of about 8% or less after removal of a surface thickness of the anti-reflection coating. In other embodiments, the coated substrate exhibits a second average reflectance of about 10% or less, when the coated surface comprises a contaminant. In some embodiments, the coated substrate exhibits a first color coordinate (a*.sub.1, b*.sub.1) in a pristine condition and a second color coordinate (a*.sub.2, b*.sub.2) after the presence of a surface defect such that Δa*b* is about 6 or less.

Photonic crystal structure and anti-forgery color conversion film comprising same

An anti-forgery color conversion film includes a photonic crystal structure whose color is converted by an external stimulus such as a breath. The photonic crystal structure includes a first refractive index layer including a first polymer exhibiting a first refractive index; and a second refractive index layer which is alternately laminated with the first refractive index layer and includes a second polymer exhibiting a second refractive index. A consumer who purchases an article including the color conversion film may easily distinguish the authenticity of the article.

Method for forming a hydrophobic and icephobic coating

A method of depositing a coating and a layered structure is provided. A coating is deposited on a substrate to make a layered structure, such that an interface between the coating and the substrate is formed. The coating includes silicon, oxygen, and carbon, where the carbon doping in the coating increases between the interface and the top surface of the coating. The top surface of the coating is inherently hydrophobic and icephobic, and reduces the wetting of water or ice film on the layered structure, without requiring reapplication of the coating.

Transparent photochromic device

The present invention relates to a metal hydride device having a variable transparency, comprising a substrate, at least one layer including a photochromic yttrium hydride having a chosen band gap, and a capping layer at least partially positioned on the opposite side of the photochromic yttrium hydride layer from the substrate, said capping layer being essentially impermeable to hydrogen and oxygen.

A closable portable painting palette case has a glass paint mixing surface with a glazed or color backing. The glazed or color backing uses an automotive process that may include an adhesion promoter, a color application, an opaque base coat application, and a clear coat application. The glass paint mixing surface may be a shatter-resistant glass with a wrong or rough side and a right or smooth side, so that the glazed or color backing is applied to the wrong or rough side, leaving the right or smooth side for use in mixing paint smears. The glazing or color backing may be white, silver, or gray, depending on the application. A magnetic attachment may be provided for attaching the palette to a sketchbook or watercolor book for hands-free use. Molded or magnetic paint pans may be provided in the closable portable painting palette.
