ATTRACTANTS FOR MICE

Compositions attractive to mice include one or more additives. The additives can include 2-sec-butyl-4,5-dihydrothiazole and/or 3,4-dehydro-ero-brevicomin, which can be isolated, purified and/or synthetic. In addition to these additives, the compositions can also include a lethal agent, such as, an anticoagulant or a toxicant, a chemostenlant and/or food. Devices and methods of using the composition are also disclosed.

Bait Station

A bait station including a first bait station subassembly and a second bait station subassembly removably-secured to the first bait station subassembly. The first bait station subassembly includes a housing, at least one panel-engaging member and a lid member. The housing has a body defining an axial passage and at least one radial passage in fluid communication with the axial passage. The lid member is hingedly-connected to the housing. The lid member defines a passage. The second bait station subassembly includes a bait spike and a bait spike retainer. The bait spike retainer defines an axial bait spike passage. The bait spike is movably-disposed within the axial bait spike passage of the bait spike retainer and the passage of the lid member. A portion of a bait station is also disclosed. A bait spike assembly is also disclosed. A method is also disclosed.

SENSOR FOR A WIRELESS ANIMAL TRAP DETECTION SYSTEM

An animal trap sensor includes a base having a distal end and a proximal end, a switch having a first metallic element and a second metallic element, and a signal unit, in which, when the first metallic element contacting the second metallic element, thereby forming a closed circuit, such that the signal unit transmits a signal to an off-site receiver. Or, an animal trap sensor includes a first portion and a second portion electrically connected with a signal unit including a power supply, in which, when the first and the second portions are disposed at a first distance between each other, thereby generating an output property, in which, when the first and the second portions are disposed at a second distance between each other, which is different from the first distance, thereby changing the output property and causing the signal unit to transmit a signal to an off-site receiver.

PEST MONITORING SYSTEM WITH CONDUCTIVE ELECTRODES

A pest monitoring system generally includes a circuit, wherein the circuit is initially in a first impedance state that is configured to change to a second impedance state due to pest activity, wherein the second impedance state is lower than the first impedance state.

Animal Control System

An animal injection system under the control of a remote operator. The system may be used to inject animals with medications and/or RFID chips. Food bait is provided in such a manner as to require an animal to expose its chest and underside. Cameras are used to determine the orientation of the animal and its gender. Images of the animal are sent to the remote operator who determines whether or not to inject an animal. Cellphone networks may be used to transmit animal images to the remote operator and send commands from the operator to the injection system. The system may include a temperature control system to maintain medications in a pre-selected temperature range.

Pest monitoring system with conductive electrodes

A pest monitoring system generally includes a circuit, wherein the circuit is initially in a first impedance state that is configured to change to a second impedance state due to pest activity, wherein the second impedance state is lower than the first impedance state.

Networked pest control system

A pest control device system includes a plurality of pest control devices and a data collector. The system may further include the data collector in the form of a gateway that is connected to a data management server via a computer network along with other gateways in corresponding pest control device groups. Each pest control device includes a pest sensor and a wireless communication circuit to transmit information from the corresponding sensor. The devices also configure to define a local wireless communication network that can relay the information from one to the next and ultimately to the data collector.

Animal trap

An animal trap has a fixed jaw that serves as a base, and an opposed moveable jaw that operatively closes down upon the base. A trigger is provided between the base and moveable jaw. A bait holder is provided within the moveable jaw, most preferably at a location that requires a rodent or other animal to step upon the trigger while both raising their head and twisting their neck to try to reach the bait. The trigger may be covered with a set of posts that are sized and spaced from each other to prohibit any flat placement of paws onto the trigger, thereby forcing the animal to grasp the post tops, while allowing a paw to slip between and potentially be trapped by adjacent posts if the animal tries to move suddenly.

Rodent Trap Assembly

A rodent trap includes a housing, a central separation mount, a top plate, first and second door members, and first and second trip levers. The central separation mount separates the housing into first and second traps. The first and second door members are attached to the housing to allow closure and opening of first and second entrances. When a rodent enters the rodent trap, the weight of the rodent on a first food tray causes the first trip lever to engage with the first door member such that the first door member closes the first entrance, thereby trapping the rodent inside the first trap. Similarly, the weight of the rodent on a second food tray causes the second trip lever to engage with the second door member such that the second door member closes the second entrance, thereby trapping the rodent inside the second trap.

BAIT INSERT FOR RODENT BAIT STATION

A bait insert including a tank filled with a liquid bait having a discharge port, a tray top having an engagement port, and a drinking area, wherein the engagement port engages with the discharge port of the tank, and a tray base sealed to the tray top, wherein the tray base includes a plurality of troughs forming an internal flow paths for the liquid bait to flow from the tank to drinking area of the tray top. Further in one embodiment, a bait insert with a spiked tray base having a spike integral to the spiked tray base configured to pierce a foil of a sealed tank is described.
