Pest control device mounting system
Method and apparatus for a pest control device mounting system configured for mounting pest control devices in a building and using them to control pests. The pest control device mounting system including a mounting bracket, which may have a circumferential portion defining a portal. In some examples, the mounting bracket includes a flange portion suitable for attaching to the perimeter of a cavity in a building surface. The pest control device mounting system including a plug configured to be removably attached to the mounting bracket and to substantially close the portal when attached to the mounting bracket, wherein the plug is configured to accommodate a pest control device.
Rodent Capturing System
A rodent capturing system includes a bucket that may be positioned on a support surface. A fluid is contained in the bucket and the fluid is comprised of a toxic material with respect to rodents. A pair of ramps is provided and each of the ramps extends between the bucket and the support surface thereby facilitating a rodent to climb the ramps. A lure is rotatably coupled to the bucket. The rodent climbs on the lure thereby facilitating the lure to drop the rodent into the fluid. In this way the fluid kills the rodent.
Selective Access System For A Feeder
A selective access system, and methods of making and using such a selective access system, whereby the selective access system includes a container including an interior space defined by a side wall disposed between opposing top and bottom walls; an opening disposed within the side wall, the opening communicating with the interior space; a cover slidably engaged with the container, the cover configured to slide upward and downward between a first position and a second position; whereby in the first position, the cover overlays the opening; and whereby in the second position, the cover disposes away from at least a portion of the opening to permit access to the interior space; and a force generator coupled to the cover, the force generator generating a pre-selected force amount which when unopposed, provides the first position of the cover.
Selectively-accessible feeder
An apparatus for baiting and/or feeding target animals comprises: a trough to contain bait and/or feed; and a closure which can be urged by at least one said target animal so as to move from a closed position, in which it precludes access to the bait and/or feed by the target animal(s), to an open position, which is such that said access is enabled, the apparatus being configured such that the closure offers a resistance to being moved which is sufficient that it cannot be urged by another animal to move from the closed position to the open position.
Bait Composition
Disclosed herein are embodiments of a feral hog control system including bait comprising a carrier material and an amount of warfarin, wherein the amount of warfarin is not greater than about 0.01% by weight of the bait. Further disclosed herein are embodiments of a selective access device for permitting selective access to the bait when the bait is disposed within a feeder.

TIME RELEASE APPLICATION AND MONITORING SYSTEM
Provided herein are mechanisms and methods for the automated distribution of active ingredients (whether oral or contact based) to wild and domestic animal populations as well as a method for monitoring animal activity and estimating consumption and/or application of such ingredients within the population through the utilization of the mechanisms themselves. The inventive device pertains to a manner of delivering either an active oral ingredient or active contact ingredient within a bait pellet or like substrate for ingestion or external contact and/or coating of a target population. The device allows for controlled access of such a bait pellet (or like substrate) for such a target population coupled with the ability to retain freshness thereof for multiple timed access events without the need for human involvement. A properly sized, configured, and automated delivery device is thus provided to meet these needs. Delivery components are also encompassed herein.
Vermin Control Compositions
A composition for killing an animal, e.g. a rodent, comprising: (i) a toxin component comprising one or more agents toxic to the animal, e.g. cholecalciferol or 25-hydroxycholecalciferol (vitamin D.sub.3); and (ii) a carrier system for the toxin component; wherein the carrier system (ii) comprises: (a) at least one solvent or dispersant for the toxin component, e.g. an alcohol such as ethanol, and (b) at least one dermal disruptant component, e.g. dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO). The compositions provide enhanced dermal penetration of the toxin into and through the skin of the animal onto which the composition is sprayed or delivered, e.g. in a trap or other apparatus.
