Helmet
A helmet is described, more specifically a helmet comprising a protective shell (10) formed of a flexible expanded polyurethane (EPU) material which defines a cavity for receiving the wearer's head, the shell being foldable, the helmet further comprising a strap (11) arrangement for fastening the shell to the wearer's head.
DUAL FUNCTIONING HEAD PROTECTION DEVICE
A dual functioning head protection device for a fall prone user including a c-shaped neck collar that is configured to compress the jugular veins of the user during application to the user's neck and an expandable airbag helmet that is removably affixed to the collar. The airbag helmet includes an inflatable innerbag surrounded by an outer hag, such that the structure of the outer bag defines a shape of the airbag helmet when the inner bag is inflated. The inner bag includes a number of chambers which inflate to protect the user's skull during a fall. A trigger device in the collar detects if the user is falling and inflates the airbag helmet in such instances. This dual functioning device also protects the user's brain from brain slosh because of the collar's compression of the user's jugular veins. Compression of the vein sends blood into the skull with each fall impact, which reduces the brain's freedom to jostle around in the skull in a fall.
EXTERNAL PROTECTION DEVICE FOR VEHICLES AND HEADS
A rigid and aerodynamic device for external protection for motorcycle and bicycle vehicles with 2 to 4 wheels. This removable dome type device is formed by multiple overlapping panels that form an oval shell type structure, which protects both the vehicle and the pilot from external weather conditions and physical damage in the event of a collision.
Protective helmet
A protective helmet for protecting the head of a user, characterized in that it comprises an enveloping structure consisting of an inner component (1), at least one intermediate component (2) and an outer base component (3) having an annular configuration, where the components (1, 2, 3) are coupled one inside the other, can move in relation to each other from a retracted position to a deployed position and vice versa, and create a space, in a deployed position, corresponding to the part of the user's head that is inside the helmet.
FOLDABLE HELMET
Disclosed is a foldable helmet for protecting a user's head, the foldable helmet includes a main body, and two pairs of segments that are connected to the main body in a foldable manner and face each other with the main body therebetween in a first direction and a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, respectively, wherein the two pairs of segments are folded in different directions.
Surgical personal protection apparatus
A surgical protection system to define a barrier between the user and the external environment. The surgical protection system comprising a helmet assembly, a hood and a transparent face shield. The helmet including a shell, a face frame coupled to the shell, a static tab, a first fastener disposed on the face frame; and a fan mounted to the shell and configured to circulate air about the user. The hood may include a first material defining an opening. The shield may be formed from flexible material and disposed within the opening of the hood. The shield may further include a tab extending from a top portion of the shield and define an opening configured to receive the static tab of the helmet to align the shield to the helmet. The first fastener disposed on the face frame may be configured to facilitate removable attachment of the shield to the helmet.
Surgical Personal Protection Apparatus
A personal protection system for providing a sterile barrier around medical/surgical personnel. The system includes a helmet over which a hood or a toga suspended. The helmet has a chin bar that extends forward of the face of the individual wearing the system. At least one manually actuated control for regulating one aspect of operation of the system is mounted to the chin bar. Sometimes the control is a button that is depressed to control the operation of a helmet mounted fan that draws air into the hood or toga. A microphone may also be mounted to the chin bar.
HELMET
The present technology relates to a helmet of a layered and segmented design including impact attenuation structures. The helmet can include a series of layers that individually, or in combination, provide the necessary functions of the helmet. The helmet may feature a layer with a low coefficient of friction to act as a slip layer and slide due to rotational force. The present technology includes impact attenuation structures of predetermined geometries, layers, and materials to allow for an appropriate impact response with a certain degree of control over the buckling process and an adaptive impact response. The present technology of impact attenuation structures may be applicable where impact absorption and controlled buckling is desired, such as bike helmets.
Foldable Safety Helmet
A helmet includes a concave interior surface forming an interior space configured to receive a person's head in an expanded configuration and a shell surrounding the interior space. The shell may include a first hinge at a first predetermined location on the shell configured to allow a first portion of the helmet to pivot toward the interior space in a collapsed configuration, and a second hinge at a second predetermined location configured to allow a second portion of the helmet to pivot toward the first portion of the helmet in the collapsed configuration.
COLLAPSIBLE AERODYNAMIC HELMET
A collapsible aerodynamic helmet for a rider of a bicycle or vehicle is provided. The collapsible aerodynamic helmet includes a body member wearable by the rider. The collapsible aerodynamic helmet also includes a tail support member outwardly extending laterally towards the back of the body member. The tail support member incudes a cut-out side portion on each side of the body member that extends in a specified shape to accommodate the shoulders of the rider. The tail support member also includes a back support member coupled to the cut-out side portion to complement the shape of the rider's shoulders and back. The collapsible aerodynamic helmet further includes a securing means for compactly securing the tail member for coupling with conventional helmets.
