Split-sole footwear
A shoe including an upper forming an interior portion for a foot, the interior portion including toe and heel cavities, is provided. The shoe includes a midsole having toe and heel ends and inner and outer sides. The midsole is affixed to the upper forming a bottom to the interior portion. An insole is affixed to the bottom. An outsole patch includes a toe portion disposed on the toe end of the midsole and a heel portion disposed on the heel end of the midsole. The outsole patch includes an exterior contour providing clearance between the midsole and ground when worn. A region between the heel and toe portions of the outsole patch extends from the inner to outer sides occupying a position intermediate the toe and heel ends of the midsole, permitting the shoe to fold about the region. The insole is not stitched to the upper or midsole.
Adjustable clog style footwear
An adjustable clog with a unique strap system is described. The sole assembly for the clog has an interior sole wing situated near the heel of the sole assembly, and an exterior sole wing on the opposite side of the sole assembly from the interior sole wing, near the heel of the sole assembly, wherein the interior sole wing and the exterior sole wing consist of webbing strap and rubber that extend above the sole assembly. The clog also includes an upper, where the upper is affixed to the sole assembly. A wing hook strap is affixed to the interior sole wing on the first end of the wing hook strap and to the paracord loop on the second end of the wing hook strap, wherein the wing hook strap includes a first G-hook that hooks into one of the first plurality of hook pockets. A heel strap connected to the interior sole wing on the first end of the heel strap and the exterior sole wing on the second end of the heel strap through the mechanical ring, said heel strap includes a second G-hook that hooks into one of the second plurality of hook pockets.

These include new methods of cross-linking resilin compositions, use of polar nonaqueous solvents for adjusting material properties of cross-linked resilin solid compositions, and resilin foam compositions and methods of making the same.

Cork outer soled shoes and method for fabrication
A process for fabricating shoes having an outer cork sole insert includes processing raw cork into sheets of predetermined thickness, adhering a thin fabric sheet to one side of the intermediate cork sheets, cutting out cork/fabric sole inserts and placing them into an injection mold, and cycling the plastic injection mold so as to form a cork insert into the plastic sole.
SHOE INSOLE AND SLIPPER HAVING THE SAME
A shoe insole which is adapted to be worn by a user includes a fiber pad. The fiber pad has a first portion that corresponds in position to a forefoot of a user and that includes a plurality of fiber layers stacked in a top-bottom direction. Each of the fiber layers includes a plurality of fibers and a resin material interconnecting the fibers. The first portion of the fiber pad has a first longitudinal cross-section profile concave relative to the forefoot of the user in a toe-to-heel direction. A slipper including the shoe insole is also disclosed.
