A convertible footwear including a sole assembly and a socks assembly. The sole assembly includes at least one sole having suction cups equidistantly disposed on a top end thereof and protruding elements extending upward from lateral sides thereof. The socks assembly includes at least one sock having a rubber bottom. The rubber bottom is made of rubber. The at least one sock is removable attached to the at least one sole defining a footwear. The suction cups are sealed against the rubber bottom to attach the at least one sole to the at least one sock. The protruding elements enclose and cover a portion of the at least one sock.

An elongate foot engagement element (100) for a footwear article (200), the foot engagement element (100) comprising two elongate portions (110a, 110b) each having a longitudinal axis (310), a first and a second planar surfaces which are opposes to each other, wherein the elongate portions (110a, 110b) have a first longitudinal edge region and an opposed second longitudinal edge; wherein a plurality of recesses (324, 334) extending along at least a portion of at least one edge of at least one of the elongate portions (110a, 110b) of the foot engagement element (100), and wherein plurality of recesses (324, 334) of the elongate portions (110a, 110b) provides for flexion of that elongate portion (110a, 110b) within the plane of the first and the second planar surfaces, and wherein the elongate portion (110a, 110b) is sized and arranged in conjunction with plurality of recesses (324, 334) such that the foot engagement element (100) is substantially flexible and elastic so as to allow for substantial flexion when in use.

A protective footwear is provided that selectively attaches to a cleat to at least partially cover the protrusions on the bottom of the cleat and allow an athlete or other person to safely traverse a hard surface like concrete. The protective footwear has a strap system that provides the selective attachment to the cleat, and a pliable inner sole of the protective footwear conforms to the protrusions on the cleat. As a result, the protrusions are protected and do not contact a hard surface like concrete. The athlete or other person is less likely to slip and fall by using the protective footwear among other benefits described herein.

A slipper having a replaceable upper comprises a sole and an upper, left and right side edges of an upper surface of the sole extend upwards to respectively form a left retaining edge and a right retaining edge, the left retaining edge is provided with a left through hole in the width direction of the sole, the right retaining edge is provided with a right through hole in the width direction of the sole, and two ends of the upper respectively pass through the left and right through holes to form a detachable connection with an outer surface of the upper; two ends of the upper are respectively inserted from inner side surfaces of the left and right retaining edges, correspondingly pass through the left and right through holes, and are then folded back to be bonded and fastened to the outer surface of the upper.

The present disclosure describes a shoe that may be transformed from a high heel shoe to a low heel shoe. The shoe may include three parts: a removable stelo, a removable high heel attachment, and the corresponding attachment systems integrated into the base shoe sole. The removable high heel attachment may be a standard heel of any design, width and height that has a locking system comprising a threaded post located at the heel base. When the stelo and heel attachment are attached, the shoe may be a high heel shoe. When they are removed, the shoe may be a low heel shoe, or flat shoe.

Disclosed herein are improved cross-linked resilin compositions and methods of making these improved compositions. These include new methods of cross-linking resilin compositions, use of polar nonaqueous solvents for adjusting material properties of cross-linked resilin solid compositions, and resilin foam compositions and methods of making the same.
