The invention relates to a process for preparing molecular sieves, such as ZSM-57, using one or more structure directing agents selected from the group consisting of N.sup.1,N.sup.1,N.sup.5,N.sup.5-tetraethyl-N.sup.1,N.sup.5-dimethylpentane-1,5-diaminium, 1-ethyl-1-(5-(1-methylpiperidin-1-ium-1-yl)pentyl)piperidin-1-ium, 1,1-(hexane-1,6-diyl)bis(1-ethylpiperidin-1-ium), and 1,1-diethylpyrrolidin-1-ium.

Method for oligomerising alkenes using the ITQ-39 zeolite

The invention relates to a heterogeneous method for oligomerising alkenes in order to produce hydricarbons within a diesel fraction in the present of a catalyst based on the ITQ-39 zeolite. The oligomerisation method described in the present invention includes at least: a. feeding a catalyst containing at least the ITQ-39 zeolitic material into the reactor; b. supplying the reactor with a stream that includes at least one olefinic compound; and c. enabling the catalyst containing at least the ITQ-39 material and the organic compound to remain in contact during the time required for the reaction to take place.

Method for separating 2-alkylanthracenes and use thereof for producing hydrogen peroxide

A method for preparing 2-alkylanthracene includes the step of separating 2-alkylanthracene from a reaction product of anthracene alkylation reaction. The anthracene alkylation reaction is a reaction of anthracene and an alkylation reagent under an alkylation condition and in the presence of an alkylation reaction solvent and a catalyst. The reaction product of the anthracene alkylation reaction contains anthracene and the product of a series of alkylanthracenes containing 2-alkylanthracene.

A method for preparing 2-alkylanthracene includes the step of separating 2-alkylanthracene from a reaction product of anthracene alkylation reaction. The anthracene alkylation reaction is a reaction of anthracene and an alkylation reagent under an alkylation condition and in the presence of an alkylation reaction solvent and a catalyst. The reaction product of the anthracene alkylation reaction contains anthracene and the product of a series of alkylanthracenes containing 2-alkylanthracene.
