Fluorine-containing complex compound, and production method for fluorine-containing organic compound employing same
An object of the present invention is to enable the synthesis of various fluorine-containing compounds having an organic group at both terminals of their tetrafluoroethylene structure (—CF.sub.2—CF.sub.2—). The present invention provides a fluorine-containing complex compound including a fluorine-containing organic metal compound represented by formula (1a):
R.sup.1—CF.sub.2—CF.sub.2-M.sup.1 (1a)
wherein M.sup.1 is a metal selected from the group consisting of copper, zinc, nickel, iron, cobalt, and tin; and R.sup.1 represents an organic group, and at least one ligand selected from the group consisting of pyridine ring-containing compounds and phosphines.

MASS POLYMERIZABLE POLYCYCLOOLEFIN COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING SOLUBLE PHOTOACID GENERATORS
Embodiments in accordance with the present invention encompass compositions comprising a soluble photoacid generator, a organopalladium compound, a photosensitizer and one or more olefinic monomers which undergo vinyl addition polymerization when said composition is exposed to a suitable actinic radiation to form a substantially transparent film. The monomers employed therein have a range of optical and mechanical properties, and thus these compositions can be tailored to form films having various opto-electronic properties. Accordingly, compositions of this invention are useful in various applications, including as coatings, encapsulants, fillers, leveling agents, among others.
MASS POLYMERIZABLE POLYCYCLOOLEFIN COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING SOLUBLE PHOTOACID GENERATORS
Embodiments in accordance with the present invention encompass compositions comprising a soluble photoacid generator, a organopalladium compound, a photosensitizer and one or more olefinic monomers which undergo vinyl addition polymerization when said composition is exposed to a suitable actinic radiation to form a substantially transparent film. The monomers employed therein have a range of optical and mechanical properties, and thus these compositions can be tailored to form films having various opto-electronic properties. Accordingly, compositions of this invention are useful in various applications, including as coatings, encapsulants, fillers, leveling agents, among others.

A method for producing an organometallic nucleophile includes reacting an organohalide and a metal or metal compound with each other by a mechanochemical process in the presence of an ether compound in an amount of 0.5 to 10.0 equivalents relative to 1 equivalent of the organohalide. By utilizing the method, a method for producing an organometallic nucleophile can be performed without using a large-scale apparatus, a reaction method for reactions between an organometallic nucleophile and various organic electrophiles can be performed by an efficient and simplified means, and a simplified method for producing an organometallic nucleophile can be performed with high reactivity.
