A snowboard hook body is configured to assist a rider on a chairlift wearing a laced boot on a free foot to support a snowboard from the free foot at an open binding of the snowboard. The hook body has forward and rearward ends, opposite sides, a hook top, and a hook bottom. The hook body defines a boot mount at the rearward end thereof. The boot mount has a lace passageway extending transversely there through for receiving a span of bootlace to retain the hook body on a snowboard boot in transverse alignment with the received portion of bootlace. The hook body defines a hook blade at the forward end thereof. The hook blade extends upward from the hook bottom. The hook body defines a shank between the boot mount and the hook blade, wherein the height of the shank is below the height of the hook, establishing a reception area for receiving the portion of the open binding behind the hook blade.

Ski boot and strap combination providing enhanced lateral performance
10085512 · 2018-10-02 ·

A combination of a ski boot and a strap, where the strap extends from an attachment point on the lateral side of a hard outer shell of the boot and in use is tightened to hold the inner boot liner in relatively fixed proximity to the lateral side of the outer boot shell during skiing. The strap can extend around the inner boot liner, or be at least partially incorporated as a part of the inner boot liner. In either case, the strap is adjustable between the tightened position, and an open position.

A shell with a flap for covering first and second portions of a ski boot is disclosed herein. Two sets of mating fasteners are attached to the flap and shell, respectively. The first mating pair prevents the flap from displacing from the second portion of the ski boot when fastened, causing the flap to fully cover the second portion. The second mating pair causes the flap to partially cover the second portion of the ski boot, leaving a section exposed for access by a user. The shell also includes two straps and a hoop. The first strap embraces a bottom portion of the ski boot while the second strap is inserted through the hoop and embraces a heel portion of the ski boot.

Sport-boot pressure monitor and method of use

A sport-boot pressure monitoring system and method of use. The system includes a left boot sensor having a left flexible fluid-containing bladder shaped to fit between a user's left leg and an interior surface of a left boot worn by the user and a left pressure sense element in pressure-sensing communication with the left flexible fluid-containing bladder, a right boot sensor that is similar to the left one, and a controller to provide a pressure alert if pressure between one of the user's legs and the interior surface of the boot worn on that leg violates a predetermined pressure threshold and to provide a proximity alert if a distance between the left and right boots violates a predetermined proximity threshold.

Ski boot

A ski boot including a rigid foot-case that accommodates a user's foot, a rigid cuff, which is pivotally joined to the foot-case so as to be able to rotate about a reference axis substantially perpendicular to the midplane of the ski boot, and foot-case closing means which are adapted to selectively close/tighten the foot-case against the user's foot. The foot-case closing means includes an oblong, transversal locking band that extends transversally to the midplane of the ski boot and has a first end firmly fixed to a first lateral side of the foot-case, and a manually-operated coupling assembly, which is adapted to connect the second end of the transversal locking band selectively and alternatively to the foot-case or to the cuff, at a second lateral side of the foot-case opposite to said first lateral side.

SNOWBOARD ACCESSORY

A snowboard accessory for engagement with a snowboard boot and a snowboard is described. The snowboard accessory includes a support pad including a top support pad surface and a bottom support pad surface. At least a portion of the support pad is magnetically active. The top support pad surface is configured for both magnetic and supporting engagement with at least a portion of a snowboard. An elongated anchoring strap extends laterally from the support pad and includes at least one strap end laterally spaced from the support pad. The elongate anchoring strap is removably attached to the bottom support pad surface. The at least one strap end is configured for securement to the snowboard boot.

AN ASSEMBLY FOR ANCHORAGE OF A BINDING PART IN A SKI SHOE

The present invention relates to an assembly for anchorage of a binding part (1) in a ski shoe, wherein the binding part (1) comprises an oblong, round part of metal or other material with pins (2) projecting at either side, wherein the binding part (1) is arranged in a sole (8), such that the pins project at either side of the front end of the sole (8) transversely of the longitudinal direction of a ski. The binding (1) is mounted onto or comprises at least one anchorage part (3) with openings (4) and holders-on (6), wherein the anchorage part (3) forms an opening into which the binding part (1) fits, the anchorage part (3) and the bonding part (1) comprising at least to attachment points (5) in the circumference of the round binding part (1).
