Method of Making Moisture-Permeable Waterproof Shoe
A method of making a moisture-permeable waterproof shoe includes: cutting a substrate to form a cut piece having a main body and two wing portions; ultrasonically welding rear mating edges of the main body, wing lateral edges of the wing portions, front and rear curved edges of each wing portion respectively to a front convex portion and a lateral connecting edge of the main body to form a shoe-like inner sleeve: sleeving the inner sleeve on a shoe last; coating an adhesive on an inner surface of an upper; sleeving the upper on the shoe last and heating the assembly to form a moisture-permeable waterproof foot cover; and fixing a bottom portion of the moisture-permeable waterproof foot cover to a sole.
Booties and footwear assemblies comprising seamless extensible film, and methods therefor
Waterproof, breathable socks, booties, shoe inserts, and footwear assemblies containing the shoe inserts are provided. The booties and shoe inserts may include a laminate comprising a seamless extensible film, such as a polyurethane film, and at least one textile. The bootie is suitable for a range of sizes and shoe shapes. The bootie may shrink to fit, or, alternatively, be stretched to fit, an asymmetrical last having a desired size to form a shoe insert. A bootie having a seamless extensible film eliminates the need to have multiple sizes of shoe inserts correlating to particular shoe sizes. In embodiments where the polyurethane film is seamless and continuous, the shoe insert eliminates the need for a waterproof seam tape, which is conventionally used to make shoe inserts waterproof. Methods of forming the socks, booties, and shoe inserts are also provided.
FOOTWEAR ASSEMBLY
A footwear assembly includes a shoe having a vamp and an outsole. The shoe includes a first room defined between the vamp and the outsole, and a first opening is formed in the top of the shoe and communicates with the first room. A first connection member is located on outside of the first opening. A water-proof sock is inserted in the first room via the first opening, and has a neck portion formed along the second opening of the water-proof sock. The neck portion is able to be foldable relative to the water-proof sock and has a second connection member which is connected to the first connection member when the neck portion is foldable relative to the water-proof sock.
Preparation and application of dynamic non-wicking PU foam
Disclosed are a dynamic non-wicking PU foam and preparation and application thereof The PU foam is prepared from polyether polyol, toluene-2,4-diisocyanate, non-wicking additive and auxiliary agent. The dynamic non-wicking additive is composed of carboxylic acids, amines and alkyl alcohols in any proportion. The auxiliary agent is composed of silicone surfactant, amine promoter, tin catalyst, pigment and water. The dynamic non-wicking PU foam has a high stability and an extremely non-wicking effect. The shoes made of the dynamic non-wicking PU foam also have extremely good dynamic non-wicking and waterproof effects, thus ensuring both comfort and stability of quality.
Method of forming and shaping waterproof and moisture permeable shoe upper and shoe upper thereof
A method of forming and shaping a waterproof and moisture permeable shoe upper includes disposing a shoe upper and a waterproof and moisture permeable film on a shoe last, wherein at least one of the shoe upper and the waterproof and moisture permeable film includes microwave treatable material, and heating the shoe last with the shoe upper and the waterproof and moisture permeable film thereon by microwave, so that the shoe upper and the waterproof and moisture permeable film are combined by the microwave treatable material and shaped to form the waterproof and moisture permeable shoe upper after cooling.
DRAINAGE HOLES IN A TOE BOX OF A SHOE
A running shoe can include a sole and an upper formed separately from and connected to the sole. The sole can include a toe cap connected to a toe portion of the sole, at least one drainage hole positioned at and extending through the toe cap, a drainage hole cover including a flexible water permeable material extending over and visually obscuring the at least one drainage hole, the drainage hole cover extends over an area of the toe cap adjacent to and surrounding the drainage holes, and a foot cavity defined at least in part by an interior surface of the upper.
SPRING MECHANISM IN A SHOE
A shoe can include a sole, a cavity defined in the sole, and a spring plate disposed within the cavity. The spring plate can include an elongated shape with a central axis where the central axis is aligned with length of the sole and a flat profile in the midfoot region of the sole.
Waterproof footwear and the manufacturing method
A waterproof footwear, comprises a lining made of multiple layers of breathable and waterproof materials, an injected upper with mesh structure, and a sole. The mesh structure has plurality of holes to pass the air and vapor from the lining, and reduce the weight of the footwear.
SOLE STRUCTURE OF A SHOE AND SHOE WITH SUCH A SOLE STRUCTURE
The present invention concerns a sole structure (10, 110, 910) comprising a tread (11, 111, 911), which comprises at least one portion of breathable material (11, 111, 911), and a midsole (12, 112, 212, 312, 912) coupled to said tread (11, 111, 911), said midsole having:at least one first channel (13, 113, 213, 313, 413, 513, 613, 713, 813) having at least one ventilation port (14) for the fluidic communication with the outside environment, at least one first through opening (15, 115, 215, 315) in fluidic communication with said at least one first channel (13, 113, 213, 313, 413, 513, 613, 713, 813), said sole structure (10, 110, 910) comprises a waterproof and breathable functional element (16, 216, 316) which seals said at least one first opening (15, 115, 215, 315) in a waterproof manner. A shoe (20) with said sole structure (10, 110, 910) is further object of the invention.
Insulated footwear articles
The invention is an article of footwear incorporating insulation material, such as a low bulk insulation material, to provide warmth in cold weather, yet with the style, agility, and breathability of a typical conventional shoe or boot. Additionally, in a further embodiment, the invention includes these features in a shoe or boot which is also waterproof and breathable. These aspects of the present invention are achieved through a placement, or mapping, of low bulk insulation to maximize the footwear article attributes of warmth, style, agility, and breathability.
