PROCESS FOR PRODUCING (METH)ACRYLIC ESTERS
This invention relates to a process for the continuous production of a (meth)acrylic ester by transesterification reaction between a C1-C4 light alkyl (meth)acrylate, with a heavy alcohol in the presence of a catalyst, characterised in that the flows feeding the reactor are introduced through a static mixer placed on a recirculation loop of the reactor. The use of a static mixer improves the selectivity of the reaction and consequently the overall productivity of (meth)acrylic ester synthesis process.

Fabric softener active compositions
The present invention relates to fabric softener active compositions comprising a combination of a mixture of quarternary ester ammonium compounds and fatty solvents (a fatty acid ester, a fatty acid, a fatty alcohol and mixtures thereof) and methods of making and using the same. The fabric softener active compositions preferably comprise component (a), said component being a mixture of quarternary ester ammonium compounds obtained by esterification of a mixture of alkanolamines comprises at least a trialkanolamine and a monoalkyldialkanolamine; component (b), said component being a fatty acid ester or a mixture of fatty acid esters, wherein the component (b) content is in the range from 5 to 60% wt. based on the total weight of the fabric softener active composition; and a component (c), said component being a fatty acid or a mixture of fatty acids, wherein the component (c) content is in the range from 0 to 15% wt. based on the total weight of the fabric softener active composition. The invention also proposes fabric softener compositions, comprising the previously described active compositions, and methods of making and using the same.

ALL-AROMATIC LIQUID-CRYSTALLINE HOMO-POLYIMIDES WITH AROMATIC ENDGROUPS AND CROSSLINKED PRODUCTS THEREFROM
A family of low-molecular-weight, main-chain thermotropic liquid-crystalline polyimides (TLC-PI) that are crosslinkable is disclosed. These all-aromatic TLC-PI are derived from (i) wholly aromatic and flexible diamine monomers, in which the linkage between the two aniline-ends contains a relatively high heat-tolerant but flexible chain constituted by two or more units of 1,4-phenoxy or 1,3-phenoxy or in combinations of both. Processes of making and using such all-aromatic TLC-PI is also provided.

Y-type discrete polyethylene glycol derivative and preparation method thereof
The present invention discloses a Y-type discrete polyethylene glycol derivative, which has the advantages of determined molecular weights and the number of chain segments, and can avoid the defect of heterogeneity of a PEG derivative. In addition, the Y-type discrete polyethylene glycol derivative of the present invention may increase the water solubility of the discrete polyethylene glycol, and solve the problem of insufficient water solubility of the discrete polyethylene glycol-modified insoluble drug caused by an increase of the loading capacity.
