A dancing shoe is described. The latter has a sole with an inner side and an outer side, which sole extends in a longitudinal direction from a rear end to a front end. The outer side of the sole has a plurality of incisions. Moreover, an upper shoe is provided, which is connected to the sole and has a foot section. To connect the upper shoe to the sole, the foot section of the upper shoe has, on its underside, at least one recess through which elongate connection elements extend which, in the state when the dancing shoe is being worn, are received at least in some regions in incisions of the outer side of the sole.
FOOTWEAR PLATE
A method of forming a plate for an article of footwear is disclosed. The method includes applying a first strand portion to a base layer including positioning adjacent segments of the first strand portion to form a first layer on the base layer. The adjacent segments of the first strand portion having a greater density across a width of the plate between a medial side and a lateral side at a forefoot region of the plate than at a midfoot region of the plate and at a heel region of the plate. The method also includes applying at least one of heat and pressure to the first strand portion and to the base layer to conform the first strand portion and the base layer to a predetermined shape.
Running Shoes
A running shoe comprises an upper and a midsole attached to the upper, the midsole having a front portion corresponding to a forefoot and a rear portion corresponding to a heel. The front portion of the midsole may define a toe spring of at least 40 mm and a plurality of flex grooves, the plurality of flex grooves including one or more horizontal flex grooves and one or more longitudinal flex grooves, the horizontal flex groove(s) extending in a lateral to medial direction of the running shoe and allowing the front portion of the midsole to lie flat in response to application of less than 15 pounds of force against the toe spring, the longitudinal flex groove(s) extending in a front to back direction of the running shoe. The rear portion of the midsole may have a flat bottom that is narrower than the upper.
FOOTWEAR
To provide footwear, in which a cushion layer is effectively bent even though an outsole of footwear has a thick cushion layer to distribute weight, thereby putting no stain on movement during walking, the footwear according to the disclosure includes uppers provided to surround at least a certain region of a wearer's foot; a supporter disposed below the uppers and supporting the foot; and a walking assister provided in the supporter, adjacent to a metatarsophalangeal joint area of the foot, and generating elasticity in a walking direction of the wearer.
Sole system having movable protruding members
An article of footwear with a sole system includes a sole member and a protruding member assembly. The sole system provides tactile sensation. Protruding members of the protruding member assembly can translate through holes in the sole member to facilitate tactile sensation.
Pre-tensioned article and method of making
A pre-tensioned article and method of making an article of footwear involving pre-tensioning a sole structure during manufacturing. In some embodiments, the sole structure may include a plurality of apertures that provide an auxetic effect. In further embodiments, the upper may also be pre-tensioned in a similar manner as the sole structure.
Athletic shoe with a shell inserted between the upper and a comfort sole
An athletic shoe extending between toe (1) and heel (3) and comprising upper (5) attached to outsole (7) via comfort sole (9). According to the invention, the athletic shoe comprises shell (13) make of plastic or composite material, inserted between upper (5) and comfort sole (9) and to which it is attached at heel (1).
A SHOES SOLE
The present invention provides for a sole structure for a shoe having a bottom surface, comprising, inter alia, a forefoot sole portion, arranged towards a distal end along a longitudinal central axis of said sole structure; a rearfoot sole portion, arranged towards a proximal end along said longitudinal central axis of said sole structure; and an articulation portion, adapted to operably couple said forefoot sole portion and said rearfoot sole portion, so as to allow relative movement between said forefoot sole portion and said rearfoot sole portion matching the triplanar movement provided by the midtarsal joint in any one of the frontal, sagittal and transverse plane of the foot, during use.
