A non-removable insole, that is an integral part of a shoe or other footwear article, includes at least: a top layer, a middle layer, and a bottom layer. The middle layer of the insole has apertures or cavities, that define several discrete storage chambers within the insole. Each storage chamber stores a mixture of two or more particulate materials. The mixture includes one or more materials selected from Group A, which includes natural sand, synthetic sand, artificial sand, kinetic sand, silica, quartz. The mixture further includes one or more materials selected from Group B, which includes: powdered aluminum, powdered titanium, powdered zinc, powdered magnesia, powdered silver, powdered anti-bacterial agent, powdered metal, powdered talcum, grained cork, grained coal, grained wood.

Footwear Having Sensor System

A sensor system is adapted for use with an article of footwear and includes an insert member including a first layer and a second layer, a port connected to the insert and configured for communication with an electronic module, a plurality of force and/or pressure sensors on the insert member, and a plurality of leads connecting the sensors to the port.

ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING AN ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR
20190365046 · 2019-12-05 · ·

An article of footwear includes an upper and a strobel stitched to the upper at a series of stitches disposed in stitch holes that extend through the strobel. The strobel and the upper define a foot-receiving cavity with an inner surface of the strobel disposed at the foot-receiving cavity. A midsole is secured to the upper and an outer surface of the strobel is disposed at the midsole. The stitch holes are obstructed such that the stitch holes are not exposed to both the midsole and the foot-receiving cavity. Accordingly, when a flowable polymeric material is injected in a mold cavity to form the midsole with the lower portion of the upper and the strobel in the mold cavity, the stitch holes will not provide a path for entry of the flowable polymeric material into the foot-receiving cavity. A method of manufacturing an article of footwear is disclosed.

A plurality of orthotic systems are provided. One bi-layer system is constructed from a single sheet of fabric that is molded into two layers. One tri-layer system includes a base layer; a mid-layer; and an upper layer. The upper layer is joined to the mid-layer and the mid-layer is joined to the base layer. The coupling of the base layer, the mid-layer and the upper layer create a rear spring section, a mid-spring section and a front spring section in which the upper layer is suspended over the mid-layer and the heel portion is suspended on the proximal heel end of the base layer.

A method for manufacturing a waterproof and vapor-permeable shoe (1) (20) (30) (40) (50) comprising the steps of providing an upper (2) and a lining (3) comprising at least one functional layer (7) of vapor-permeable and waterproof material, providing an insole (5) comprising a functional support sheet (9) of vapor-permeable and waterproof material, coupling the peripheral edge of the functional layer (7) of the lining (3) to the peripheral edge of the functional sheet (9) of the insole (5) by way of a sealing waterproof adhesive (8) so as to shape a sock of vapor-permeable and waterproof material, couple the upper (2) to the outer surface of the lining (3) by way of a vapor-permeable adhesive; and couple a sole (4) to the upper (2) and/or to the lining (3) and/or to the insole (5).

Method of manufacturing a shoe insole

A method of manufacturing a shoe insole includes an upper cover layer and a lower cover layer conforming in shape to the inner bottom of the shoe, and an insole body retained between the upper cover layer and the lower cover layer, taking a foot sole form to which pads are applied to selected regions of a sole taking a foot sole form; manufacturing an insole frame having a shape conforming to a three-dimensional shape of the foot sole form and applying insole pads to an upper surface of the insole frame, based on positions of marks of the test pads of the foot sole form to which the pads are applied, wherein the insole body includes the insole frame to which the insole pads are applied.

Device for preventing and treating foot and leg ulcers

A foot is configured to map location and size of the ulcerations to treated at the bottom of the foot. First and intermediate insoles are made from including semi-compressed felt. A third sole serving as the base of the device is made from including, but not limited to EVA. A cavity with beveled edges in the first insole is configured to match the location and size of the ulcerations. The first insole, the intermediate insole and the foot with ulcerations are placed in a compression sock which is equipped with a zipper and is detachably attached on the top surface of the third sole. The cavity channels the drainage or extrude from the ulcerations to the intermediate in sole where it is absorbed. The zipper provides comfort to the patient to put on and take off the compression sock with any disturbance to the ulcerations .The compression sock enhances the blood flow in the foot which prompts efficient and quick healing of the ulcerations or chronic wounds.

Footwear sheet and footwear

[Technical Problem] To provide a footwear sheet and a footwear that can increase the efficiency at which a user trains to be able to assume an ideal posture. [Solution to Problem] A footwear sheet 30 to be in contact with the sole surface of a wearer wearing a footwear 1, including: a sheet-like base part 40; and a pressure-applying part 50 projected from a side surface of the base part 40, the pressure-applying part 50 being formed in a planar shape smaller than that of the sole surface of the wearer, wherein the pressure-applying part 30 is provided on an opposite-side surface that is a side surface of the side surfaces of the base part 40 opposite a sole-side surface, the pressure-applying part 50 being indirectly in contact with a portion of the sole surface of the wearer with the base part 40 in between such that pressure on the portion of the sole surface of the wearer is higher than pressure on the other portion, enabling the shape of the sole surface of the wearer to be corrected so that the shape of the sole surface of the wearer follows the shape of the pressure-applying part 50.
