ADJUSTABLE FOOTBEDS FOR FOOTWEAR
A footbed having at least one of a thickness adjustment panel and a lateral adjustment fin, each configured to be moved between a first configuration and a second configuration, the first and second configurations providing different fits of a shoe into which the footbed is inserted.
Adjustable footbeds for footwear
A footbed having at least one of a thickness adjustment panel and a lateral adjustment fin, each configured to be moved between a first configuration and a second configuration, the first and second configurations providing different fits of a shoe into which the footbed is inserted.
PASSIVE MULTIPLE FOOT SENSOR INSOLE REAL-TIME FEEDBACK DEVICE
A foot sensor feedback device with multiple passive sensors in a shoe insole to provide real time feedback for a microprocessor to control a haptic device on the ankle of a person and to store and display data on an application on a smart phone to provide balance to a person while standing still or walking.
Hybrid material
A process of making a family cell of homogenous inner bladders with varying elasticity includes a forming a plurality of inner bladders from a first material with a first elasticity. The inner bladders have interior surfaces during inner chambers and exterior surfaces exposed to an outside environment. The inner chambers are configured to store a fluid. A family cell is formed by fluidly connecting the inner bladders. One or more hybrid bladders are selected from the inner bladders and a second material having a second elasticity is applied to the hybrid bladders. The second elasticity is less than the first elasticity, such that the second material reduces the elastic qualities of the hybrid bladder.
Somatosensation and Proprioceptor Stimulation Surface
A somatosensation and proprioceptor stimulation surface configured to stimulate rapid-firing nerves in the receptive field of a user's glabrous skin. The somatorsensation and proprioceptor stimulation surface includes a plurality of protuberances disposed thereupon, each protuberance sized and spaced apart appropriately to impress the receptive field when pressed in contact with the glabrous skin of the user. Each protuberance widens from an apex toward a base whereby increased pressure applied to the surface increases an area of contact and stimulation by applying stimulation over a larger area of skin. The protuberances are spaced apart to maximize stimulation of rapid firing nerves while lessening overstimulation. The somatosensation and proprioceptor stimulation surface is rendered in the form of a mat or floor covering and alternatively as an insole for wear in a user's shoes.
Insole for Shoes
An insole, which is insertable into a shoe and is removable from the shoe, includes at least a top layer, a middle layer, and a bottom layer. The middle layer has apertures or cavities, that define several discrete storage chambers within the insole. Each storage chamber stores a mixture of two or more particulate materials. The mixture includes one or more materials selected from Group A, which includes natural sand, synthetic sand, artificial sand, kinetic sand, silica, quartz. The mixture further includes one or more materials selected from Group B, which includes: powdered aluminum, powdered titanium, powdered zinc, powdered magnesia, powdered silver, powdered anti-bacterial agent, powdered metal, powdered talcum, grained cork, grained coal, grained wood.
ANTISTATIC FIBER-FOAM SHOE INSOLES, AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
This document discloses antistatic shoe insoles that include a flexible foam layer and antistatic filaments of textile material interspersed throughout the foam layer and extending passed or exposed at the surface of the shoe insole and methods of making such an antistatic shoe insole. The antistatic filaments are needle punched through the foam layer. The antistatic filaments may be any suitable antistatic material blended with any felt fiber such as wool fiber, cotton fiber, polyester fiber, or the like.
Reformable Insole and Method of Fabricating
An apparatus including means for being remoldable with application of heat at a predetermined temperature, means for absorbing the remoldable means, and means for enclosing the absorbing means, wherein the enclosing means comprises a substantially sealed enclosing means configured to resist a leakage of the absorbing means saturated with the remoldable means. The apparatus further include a insole implement, in which the insole implement having an insole section and an arch pad area, wherein the arch pad area is operable for accepting the enclosing means, wherein the insole implement is operable for maintaining a molded shape as the heat activated and remoldable resin composition in the sealed chamber implement cools in temperature, and wherein the insole implement is further configured to be operable for being remolded to a different shape by reheating the enclosing means containing the absorbing means saturated with the remoldable means.
Absorbent Adhesive Pad for Footwear
The present invention is an odorless absorbent adhesive pad for the inside of a shoe or sandal able to receive and maintain an aqueous or oil-based fluid, the pad contains an absorbent layer for receiving the aqueous or oil-based (e.g., an essential oil) and an upper surface and a lower surface; an aqueous and oil impermeable layer affixed to the lower surface of the absorbent layer; an adhesive layer affixed on the aqueous and oil impermeable layer for affixing the pad in the shoe or sandal; a removable protective cover affixed to the adhesive layer to prevent damage prior to use; and a protective layer affixed over the upper surface of the absorbent layer to reduce or prevent the absorbent layer from contacting a user.
Supportive Insole
A shoe insole includes a semi-rigid shell for providing a wearer with extended comfort. The semi-rigid shell includes a notch which is located on the outward side of the wearer's foot and accommodates pronation of the foot during use. Additionally, the semi-rigid shell includes an extended side portion which is located opposite of the notch side on an inner side of the wearer's foot. The semi-rigid shell is shorter in length than the length of a shoe sole and slightly shorter in width and may be combined with an insole comfort cover to provide cushion between the wearer's foot and the semi-rigid shell.
