SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GENERATING ORTHOTIC DEVICE MODELS USING SIMULATED PATIENT ANATOMY

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for generating orthotic device models using simulated patient anatomy. In one implementation, a method comprises receiving images of a body part of a patient; deriving physical measurements from the images; generating anatomy model data of the body part using the physical measurements; and generating orthotic model data based on the anatomy model data, the orthotic model data being representative of an orthotic device.

Customizable Pressure Relieving Device
20220031013 · 2022-02-03 ·

The pressure relieving device is intended to provide users with a stress relieving support surface that is customizable. To that end, the device includes a sleeve with one or more compartments that may be individually filled and refilled with a deformable media. The deformable media further includes a mixture of both non-rigid deformable and rigid non-deformable particles that enable the device to conform to any shape when acted upon by a pressure and recover back when pressure is removed. The device may act as a footwear component for use as a shoe insole insert which may be customized by the user to relieve pain in the areas of foot where most required. Accordingly, the footwear component adapts to the user's foot pattern while standing or moving. Furthermore, the device is durable, washable and reusable, and may be used with open shoes, closed shoes or even without any shoes.

The mixture includes one or more materials selected from Group A, which includes natural sand, synthetic sand, artificial sand, kinetic sand, silica, quartz. The mixture further includes one or more materials selected from Group B, which includes: powdered aluminum, powdered titanium, powdered zinc, powdered magnesia, powdered silver, powdered anti-bacterial agent, powdered metal, powdered talcum, grained cork, grained coal, grained wood.

SHOE INSOLE

[Problem] To provide a shoe insole that can inherently maintain appropriate meshing with foot joints at a high level. [Solution] A sheet section, disposed on the entire base of a shoe, and a support plate, formed from a material harder than the sheet section are provided. The sheet section and the support plate each comprises an inner curved surface section, curved in an arch shape with an end section standing upward, an outer wall section, curved in an arch shape, with an end section standing upward, and a central wall section, formed between the inner wall section and the outer wall section. The support plate comprises an inner ridge section, formed on the boundary between the inner wall section and the central wall section, and an outer ridge section, formed on the boundary between the outer wall section and the central wall section. A plurality of through-holes, arranged in the longitudinal direction of the support plate, are formed in the inner wall section and the outer wall section of the support plate. At least an upper surface of the central wall section located between the inner ridge section and the outer ridge section is curved so as to draw an arch in the longitudinal direction of the support plate.

ENERGY RETURN ORTHOTIC SYSTEMS

A plurality of orthotic systems are provided. One bi-layer system is constructed from a single sheet of fabric that is molded into two layers. One tri-layer system includes a base layer; a mid-layer; and an upper layer. The upper layer is joined to the mid-layer and the mid-layer is joined to the base layer. The coupling of the base layer, the mid-layer and the upper layer create a rear spring section, a mid-spring section and a front spring section in which the upper layer is suspended over the mid-layer and the heel portion is suspended on the proximal heel end of the base layer.

FOOT SOLE STIMULATION TOOL
20170273396 · 2017-09-28 ·

A foot sole stimulation tool is provided to press pressure points or support an arch by using protrusions, and the foot sole stimulation tool can place the protrusions in accurate positions. Four or more projections are sealed tightly within a bag body whose bottom side is affixed to a shoe sole, three or more of the projections determine a position of each projection by projections for recessed portion placed on a recessed portion of a foot sole, and projections for convex portion placed on a pressed target part of the foot sole are arranged accurately. The projections for convex portion press the pressure points and support the arch. For example, it can execute pressures to an adductor hallucis muscle precisely and is helpful for preventing hallux valgus.
