PRESSURE RELIEF INSOLE FOR SHOES AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
Insole includes a base having a shape for placement onto a sole of or in a shoe, and which base has at least one cavity extending inward from a lower surface over only a part thereof, and surrounded peripherally by the base, such that over a remaining part, the lower surface is a lowermost surface of the insole. A mesh is attached to an upper surface of the base and forms an uppermost surface of the insole. An air cushion is present in each cavity, and includes a sealing structure and lightweight foam pieces held in each cavity by the sealing structure such that when in the respective cavity, each air cushion is a lowermost surface of the insole. The sealing structure may be a plastic membrane attached to the base around a periphery of the respective cavity or a plastic membrane that surrounds the foam pieces.
Insole for footwear
Insole (34) for footwear, the insole (34) comprising an anterior arch support (48); and an anterior reinforcing bridge (54) having a raised section (56) for providing resistance against compression of the anterior arch support (48).
FIBER-FOAM SHOE INSOLES, AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
This document discloses antistatic shoe insoles that include a flexible foam layer and antistatic filaments of textile material interspersed throughout the foam layer and extending passed or exposed at the surface of the shoe insole and methods of making such an antistatic shoe insole. The antistatic filaments are needle punched through the foam layer. The antistatic filaments may be any suitable antistatic material blended with any felt fiber such as wool fiber, cotton fiber, polyester fiber, or the like.
Toe Warming Shoe Insert Apparatus
A toe warming shoe insert apparatus for keeping a user's feet and toes warm and dry includes an insole base having a base top side, a base bottom side, a base perimeter, a base toe portion, and a base heel portion. The insole base is padded. A toe cover is coupled to the insole base. The toe cover is coupled to the base perimeter around the base toe portion and has an arcuate profile to define a toe cavity configured to receive a user's toes. The toe cover is waterproof. The insole base and the toe cover fit securely within a user's shoe or boot to serve as a padded and warming insole for his or her feet bottoms and toes.
Mold assembly for shaping and cutting sock liners
Aspects hereof relate to a multi-part mold assembly for use in manufacturing articles. The mold assembly provides for contouring, shaping and cutting materials to form articles via a continuous single processing operation. The mold assembly includes an upper mold portion with a three-dimensional contouring/shaping portion and a first cutting edge, a lower mold portion with a three-dimensional contouring/shaping portion and a second cutting edge, and a base portion into which the lower mold portion may retract during use. Upon application of a first force, the upper and lower mold portions cooperate to contour/shape a material from which an article is to be formed. Upon application of a second force greater than the first, the first cutting edge and the second cutting edge interact to shear the material that extends beyond the respective cutting edges. The result is an article that is contoured, shaped and cut/trimmed utilizing a single processing operation.
ORTHOSIS WITH TEXTURED SURFACE
There is provided an orthosis and a method of making same. The orthosis includes a contoured insole having a medial side portion, the medial side portion having a contoured arch support portion. The orthosis further includes a top layer including a top surface having texture formations formed within one or more regions associated with the top surface, the texture formations having an orientation, wherein the orientation is dependent on an intended movement of a user during use of the orthosis.
RANDOM VARIABLE STIMULUS INSOLES AND FOOTWEAR TO OPTIMIZE HUMAN NEUROMUSCULAR GAIT MECHANICS
A midsole or insole device for a shoe includes a first variable stimulation mechanism positioned to interface one of the metatarsal heads and the heel and a second variable stimulation mechanism positioned to interface a lateral aspect of the foot between the fifth metatarsal head and the heel. During gait-related activities, the first variable stimulation mechanism produces stimulus of an intensity greater than the second variable stimulation mechanism. At least one of the first variable stimulation mechanism and the second variable stimulation mechanism comprises two bonded layers including a resilient stimulating upper layer and a less resilient stimulus-enhancing lower layer. The upper layer includes a plurality of holes that pass through the entirety of the upper layer, and the lower layer includes a plurality of equally spaced upwardly facing projections aligned substantially perpendicular to an upper surface of the upper layer.
Process for producing a polyurethane foam insole
Described herein is a method for producing a PU foam insole, including the following steps of: (1) pouring the raw materials used to form a PU foam into a mould, reacting to obtain a PU sheet, where the height of the mould cavity is from about 1.0 to about 1.6 times of the total thickness of two finished insoles; (2) splitting the PU sheet into two halves in the horizontal direction to obtain two pieces of PU insole material, where one surface of the material has open pores, and the other surface of the material has a skin; and (3) attaching a piece of fabric onto the surface having open pores of the material obtained in step (2). Also described herein is a PU foam insole produced by the method.
SOLES FOR SPORTS SHOES
Improved soles and insoles for shoes, in particular sports shoes, are described. In an aspect, a sole for a shoe, in particular a sports shoe, with at least a first and a second surface region is provided. The first surface region comprises expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (“TPU”). The second surface region is free from expanded TPU.
Balanced Insole Structure with Massage Function
A balanced insole structure with a massage function includes an insole main body and a connecting portion; the arch portion of the insole main body is provided with a convex portion matched with the curvature of the sole of the foot; the connecting portion is connected to two ends on the lower side of the convex portion, thus forming a stabilization cavity through their connection; and the insole main body is also provided with a massage protrusion on its upper surface. In the invention, the provision of the insole main body with the massage protrusion on its upper surface can realize the massage function of the insole.
