METHOD OF MAKING A MOISTURE-PERMEABLE AND WATERPROOF VAMP FOR A SHOE
A method of making a moisture-permeable and waterproof vamp includes: (a) providing inner and outer fabric layers, each of the inner and outer fabric layers having a top surface and a bottom surface; (b) forming a moisture-permeable and waterproof resin layer on one of the bottom surface of the outer fabric layer and the top surface of the inner fabric layer; (c) attaching the resin layer to the other one of the bottom surface of the outer fabric layer and the top surface of the inner fabric layer so as to obtain a fabric laminate; (d) cutting and forming the fabric laminate into a vamp that is formed with at least one seam; and (e) applying a waterproof treatment to the seam.
Thermal-insulating inner-boot for mountain boots and high thermal-insulation mountain boot
A thermal-insulating inner-boot for mountain boots comprising: an upper with a thermal-insulating structure, which is shaped so as to cover the user's foot and lower part of the leg; and a plate-like insole with a thermal-insulating structure, which is arranged to close the lower opening of the upper so as to cover the sole of the user's foot; the upper being shaped substantially like an overturned funnel, and including a single-piece knitted fabric structure which has, inside itself, at least one cavity-wall and also at least one sheet/piece of soft and flexible thermal-insulating material that is stably trapped within said cavity-wall.

FOOTWEAR ASSEMBLY
Disclosed is a footwear assembly (10) for forming at least part of an upper assembly of footwear, the footwear assembly defining an instep opening (8) and comprising: a water vapor permeable and waterproof functional layer (12) having a first elasticity, and a collar layer (14) attached to the water vapor permeable and waterproof functional layer (12) such as to define at least part of the instep opening (8), the collar layer (14) having a second elasticity.

METHODS FOR FORMING A WATERPROOF ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR
A method for forming an article of footwear can include arranging a scaffold layer over a last having a shape of the article of footwear to form a scaffold assembly, where the scaffold layer comprises a textile with a mesh structure. The method can further include applying a liquid rubber to an upper portion and sole portion of the scaffold assembly to form one or more layers of rubber over the scaffold layer of the scaffold assembly, thereby forming a seamless article of footwear, and removing the formed article of footwear from the last.
