FOOTWEAR WITH IMPROVED UPPER
Flexible shoe extending between rear and front ends, between lateral and medial sides, and between the sole assembly and an upper end of an upper. The upper includes an outer shell including an inner and outer layers, the latter having a foot insertion opening with rear and front divisions, the latter extending between lateral and medial edges. A device tightens the upper by bringing the lateral edge toward the medial edger. The inner layer extends opposite the outer layer and in the area of the front division of the foot insertion opening, between the lateral and medial edges. The inner layer is liquid-impermeable and flexible. When the lateral and medial edges of the outer layer are brought toward one another, the distance between the lateral and medial edges is shorter than the portion of the inner layer in the area of the front division or the foot insertion opening.
BOOT AND BOOT FITTING SYSTEM
A waterproof boot is provided that has a waterproof upper, having a foot portion, a leg portion and an ankle region located between the foot portion and the leg portion. A pocket is provided in the upper at an anterior aspect of the ankle region. An expansion mechanism is provided in the upper and is adapted to allow the upper to expand in the ankle region. A selectively removable insert is also provided that is adapted to snugly fit within the pocket.

Plastic footwear with inner liner and outer liner of woven or non woven fabric
A pressure injected plastic footwear is provided characterized in that comprising double liner made of fabric, one on the inside part and one on the outside part; both liners may be identical or different and provide the footwear with special characteristics such as being fire retardant, antifungal, anti-mold and hermetic to moisture and liquid water as well as thermal insulating.
Polyvinyl Chloride Safety Boots
A boot comprises: an outsole and an upper affixed to the outsole, the upper comprising a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) upper body and a composite toe cap. The composite toe cap comprises a fiberglass reinforced polymer, and the composite toe cap comprises a tapered surface.
Manufacturing process of shoe with internally waterproofed fabric upper
A manufacturing process is provided for a shoe with a fabric upper that is internally provided with a waterproof coating layer made of plastic material. The process includes the step of piercing of the upper in order to inject plastic material in an intermediate space between a core of a mold and the upper.

CONFORMABLE BOOTIES, SHOE INSERTS, AND FOOTWEAR ASSEMBLIES MADE THEREWITH, AND WATERPROOF BREATHABLE SOCKS
Waterproof, breathable socks, booties, shoe inserts, and footwear assemblies containing the shoe inserts are provided. The booties and shoe inserts include a laminate of a seamless ePTFE membrane and at least one textile. The bootie is conformable over a range of sizes and shoe shapes, and may be shaped to fit numerous sizes and shapes of asymmetrical shoe lasts. The bootie may shrink to fit, or, alternatively, be stretched to fit, an asymmetrical last having a desired size to form a shoe insert. Such a conformable bootie eliminates the need to have multiple sizes of shoe inserts correlating to particular shoe sizes. In embodiments where the ePTFE is seamless and continuous, the shoe insert eliminates the need for a waterproof seam tape, which is conventionally used to make shoe inserts waterproof. Methods of forming the socks, booties, and shoe inserts are also provided.

METHOD OF MAKING A BREATHABLE, WINDPROOF AND WATERPROOF VAMP FOR A SHOE
A method of making a breathable and windproof vamp includes: (a) providing outer and inner fabric layers; (b) forming a breathable and windproof resin layer on one of the outer fabric layer and the inner fabric layer; (c) dispensing a plurality of spaced-apart glue dots on the resin layer or on the other one of the outer fabric layer and the inner fabric layer; (d) connecting the inner and outer fabric layers in such a manner that the glue dots and the resin layer are interposed between the inner and outer fabric layers, and the inner and outer fabric layers are adhered with each other through the spaced-apart glue dots so as to obtain a fabric laminate; and (e) cutting and forming the fabric laminate into a vamp.
