REGULATORY T CELL MEDIATOR PROTEINS AND USES THEREOF
The present invention relates to novel regulatory T cell proteins. One protein, designated PD-L3, resembles members of the PD-L1 family, and co-stimulates αCD3 proliferation of T cells in vitro. A second, TNF-like, protein has also been identified as being upregulated upon αCD3/αGITR stimulation. This protein has been designated T.sup.reg-sTNF. Proteins, antibodies, activated T cells and methods for using the same are disclosed.
In particular methods of using these proteins and compounds, preferably antibodies, which bind or modulate (agonize or antagonize) the activity of these proteins, as immune modulators and for the treatment of cancer, autoimmune disease, allergy, infection and inflammatory conditions, e.g. multiple sclerosis is disclosed
FC-FUSION PROTEIN DERIVATIVES WITH HIGH DUAL HIV ANTIVIRAL AND IMMUNOMODULATORY ACTIVITY
Fc-fusion protein derivatives against HIV have enhanced yield in mammalian cells, and extended antiviral and immunomodulatory activities. The Fc-fusion protein derivatives can block the entry of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) into host cells, elicit effector functions through the activation of natural killer (NK) and other immune system cells, can be produced with high yield in mammalian cells, and have extended activity in vivo. Nucleic acids, vectors and host cells can express the Fc-fusion protein derivatives, which have therapeutic and diagnostic applications in human health.
METHOD FOR SELECTION AND PRODUCTION OF TAILOR-MADE HIGHLY SELECTIVE AND MULTI-SPECIFIC TARGETING ENTITIES CONTAINING AT LEAST TWO DIFFERENT BINDING ENTITIES AND USES THEREOF
Herein is reported a method for producing a bispecific antibody comprising the step of incubating (i) an antibody Fab fragment or a scFv antibody comprising within the 20 C-terminal amino acid residues the amino acid sequence LPX1TG (SEQ ID NO: 01), (ii) a one-armed antibody comprising a full length antibody heavy chain, a full length antibody light chain, and an Fc-heavy chain, whereby the full length antibody heavy chain and the full length antibody light chain are cognate antibody chains that thereof forms an antigen binding site, whereby the full length antibody heavy chain and the Fc-heavy chain are covalently linked to each other via one or more disulfide bonds forming an antibody hinge region, and whereby the Fc-heavy chain has an oligoglycine amino acid sequence at its N-terminus, and (iii) a Sortase A enzyme.
METHOD FOR IMPROVING SOLUBILITY OF PROTEIN AND PEPTIDE BY USING IMMUNOGLOGULIN FC FRAGMENT LINKAGE
A method for improving the solubility of a physiologically active protein or peptide compared to that of a physiologically active protein or peptide which is not conjugated to an immunoglobulin Fc fragment is disclosed. The method includes steps of conjugating the physiologically active protein or peptide to an immunoglobulin Fc fragment. Also disclosed is a composition for improving the solubility of a physiologically active protein or peptide, which contains an immunoglobulin Fc fragment. The composition improves the solubility compared to a composition without an immunoglobulin Fc fragment.
PD-L1 VARIANT IMMUNOMODULATORY PROTEINS AND USES THEREOF
Provided herein are immunomodulatory proteins comprising variant PD-L1 and nucleic acids encoding such proteins. The immunomodulatory proteins provide therapeutic utility for a variety of immunological and oncological conditions. Compositions and methods for making and using such proteins are provided.
T-CELL MODULATORY MULTIMERIC POLYPEPTIDES AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
The present disclosure provides variant immunomodulatory polypeptides, and fusion polypeptides comprising the variant immunomodulatory peptides. The present disclosure provides T-cell modulatory multimeric polypeptides, and compositions comprising same, where the T-cell modulatory multimeric polypeptides comprise a variant immunomodulatory polypeptide of the present disclosure. The present disclosure provides nucleic acids comprising nucleotide sequences encoding the T-cell modulatory multimeric polypeptides, and host cells comprising the nucleic acids. The present disclosure provides methods of modulating the activity of a T cell; the methods comprise contacting the T cell with a T-cell modulatory multimeric polypeptide of the present disclosure.
THERAPEUTIC FUSION PROTEINS
The present invention relates to fusion proteins suitable for use as a medicament or research tool. Therapeutic uses of the fusion proteins may include the prevention or treatment of acute or chronic inflammatory and immune system-driven organ and micro-vascular disorders, for example, acute kidney injury, acute myocardial infarction, acute respiratory distress or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease fibrosis and other organ injuries resulting from tissue trauma and acute and chronic injury.
HETERODIMERIC PROTEINS AND USES THEREOF
The present invention relates, inter alia, to compositions and methods, including heterodimeric proteins that find use in the treatment of disease, such as immunotherapies for cancer and autoimmunity.
Fusion protein comprising a blood-brain barrier (BBB)-crossing single domain antibody Fc5, an immunoglobulin Fc fragment and a beta-amyloid binding polypeptide (ABP)
A brain-penetrating composition of amyloid-ß binding peptide is disclosed. This may be useful in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease, for example as a bifunctional molecule, comprising a blood-brain barrier crossing antibody and an amyloid-ß targeting peptide linked via an Fc fragment that is able to transmigrate across the blood-brain barrier into the brain, and compositions comprising same. Methods of using this composition for treating Alzheimer's disease are disclosed.
