Body weight measuring device and body weight measuring system
A body measuring device configured to determine size and shape of a body portion of a user. The body measuring device incorporates a measuring sensor for measuring a physical change amount based upon a change in electrical characteristics wherein the measuring sensor is characterized by including at least either a pressure-type measuring sensor for measuring a pressure applied from the body of the user or an expansion-type measuring sensor for measuring a degree of expansion of a base member caused by the body shape of the user. This body measuring device configuration determines size and shape without a user needing to undertake any self-measurements.
Foot Size Measurement Tool and Foot Size Measurement Tool Set
To provide a foot size measurement tool that enables easy measurement of a ball girth and an instep girth without winding a scale measuring section. A foot size measurement tool is made up of a first wearable element and a second wearable element. The first wearable element has a sock-shaped cover and scale mark indicators. The second wearable element has a cover, a ball girth measurement portion, and an instep girth measurement portion. Foot wears the foot size measurement tool, and a length between ends of a belt-like portion is measured by means of the scale mark indicator. A length between ends of a belt-like portion is measured by means of the scale mark indicator. The thus-measured values are added to the length of the belt-like portion and the length of the belt-like portion. Thus, a length of a ball girth and a length of an instep girth are measured.
APPARATUS, A SYSTEM AND A METHOD OF FOOT MEASUREMENT FOR SELECTING READY-MADE FOOTWEAR
The invention allows foot measurement for selecting ready-made footwear that provides accurate results efficiently, easily and with low costs, and which can be performed both at home and at stores. An apparatus (120) of foot measurement comprises a base plate (121) and a single circumference measurement loop (123). The base plate (121) is utilized in measuring the length (401) of a foot, and an elastic portion (123A) of the circumference measurement loop (123) is utilized in measuring the circumference (402) around the ball of the foot.
Device and System for Measuring a Dimension of an Object
Provided is a device for measuring at least one dimension of an object. The device includes at least one body configured to be arranged along, or around, the object. The, or each, body carries an elongate stretchable waveguide and is configured to allow stretching the waveguide along its length when arranged along, or around, the object. The, or each, waveguide is associated with a sensor. The, or each, sensor includes a light emitter arranged and operable to emit at least one light pulse through the associated waveguide, and a light detector arranged to receive the at least one light pulse conveyed through the waveguide. The device also includes a communication module communicatively coupled with the, or each, sensor, and configured to communicate measurement data from the, or each, sensor to a processor to allow determining the at least one dimension. Systems and methods for measuring at least one dimension of an object are also disclosed.
Shoe fit measuring device
A shoe fit measuring device, comprising: a replica human foot portion; pressure sensors; and distance gauges. The pressure sensors and distance gauges are configured to determine whether shoes being fit tested are the correct size. The replica human foot and the sensors may be configured to be inserted into the shoes being fit tested so that fit measurements may be taken.
System and method for foot scanning via a mobile computing device
The proposed approach is a system and method that allows a user to calculate a 3D model for each of his or her feet using a simple reference object and a mobile computing device with one or more cameras and/or one or more sensors. The mobile computing device moves around the user's feet to scan and/or capture data of his or her feet via the camera and/or the sensors. The captured sensor data is then processed by the mobile computing device to create two sets of 3D (data) point sets (also referred to as “point clouds”). These point clouds are then matched to a 3D model of an average foot to establish a correspondence between the point clouds and the 3D model. Once the correspondence is established, the mobile computing device is configured to fit one or more morphable models to the user's feet.
Method for determining a design of a customized footwear object
A method for determining a design of a customized footwear object for a wearer is provided. The method includes steps of: receiving a user input of a requirement data set regarding features that are related to the wearer; obtaining a cushion data set for producing a cushion of the footwear object based on the requirement data set, the cushion data set including data regarding a position of the cushion, data regarding a shape of the cushion, data regarding a material for the cushion and data regarding a hardness of the cushion; generating an order for production of the footwear object, the order including the cushion data set; and providing the order to a forming machine in order for the forming machine to produce the footwear object.
DEVICE FOR MEASURING THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF AN OBJECT, IN PARTICULAR A BODY LIMB
The present invention relates to a device for measuring the circumference of an object, in particular a device for measuring the circumference of a body part.
SHOE SIZE MEASUREMENT DEVICES AND METHODS
A measurement device that allows all users to conveniently and discreetly determine appropriate general footwear measurements at any age is disclosed. The device may include a housing having a contact edge configured to receive the heel or a first side edge of the user's foot, a retractable tape configured to extend outwardly from the housing, and a toe flange proximate the distal end of the retractable tape that is configured to receive the toe or a second side edge of the user's foot. The retractable tape may have indicia of barleycorn units of measurement that can be easily be used to determine footwear sizes (length and width) in English speaking countries.
Sensor systems for user-specific evaluation of gait, footwear and garment fitting; monitoring of contact, force, pressure and/or shear at or near body surfaces
Sensing devices including flexible and stretchable pressure sensors may be associated with or incorporated in garments intended to be worn against a body surface (directly or indirectly), or may be associated with other types of flexible substrates. Systems and methods for storing, communicating, processing, analyzing and displaying data collected by sensor components for remote monitoring of conditions at or near body surfaces are also disclosed. Sensors and sensor systems provide substantially real-time feedback relating to current body conditions and may provide user-specific feedback relating to gait and footwear fit and performance, facilitating improved footwear matching to individual users and improved footwear design and manufacturing, and enabling early intervention when conditions indicate intervention is appropriate.
