A method for producing a coated substrate includes applying a photocurable silicon-containing coating film-forming composition to an uneven substrate; and exposing the photocurable silicon-containing coating film-forming composition to light, wherein the photocurable silicon-containing coating film-forming composition comprises a hydrolyzable silane, a hydrolysate thereof, or a hydrolytic condensate thereof, wherein the hydrolyzable silane is a hydrolyzable silane of the following Formula (1):

A photocurable liquid silicone composition, that has low viscosity that facilitates injection into a small gap, cures quickly by irradiating with a high energy beam (such as ultraviolet light or the like), has a refractive index after curing that is high not only in a visible region but also in an infrared region, and is particularly useful as a material for a device using an infrared LED light source, is provided. The photocurable liquid silicone composition comprises: (A) an organosilane or low molecular weight organosiloxane with one to five silicon atoms and in one molecule, at least two alkenyl groups and at least two monovalent functional groups selected from aromatic groups and aralkyl groups, (C) in one molecule, a compound having at least two mercapto groups, and (D) a photoradical initiator. The refractive index of the entire liquid composition, prior to curing, is 1.48 or higher.

The composition comprises: (A) one or more type of an organosilane or organopolysiloxane having on average one or more photoreactive functional groups and two or more monovalent functional groups selected from aromatic groups with 6 to 12 carbon atoms and aralkyl groups with 7 to 12 carbon atoms in a molecule and having 1 to 5 silicon atoms, and optionally further comprising (C) a curing catalyst.
POLYORGANOSILOXANE RELEASE COATING COMPOSITION
Provided is a polyorganosiloxane release coating composition, including: (A) an aryl-functional polydiorganosiloxane having a content of aliphatically unsaturated groups, (B) a polyorganosilicate resin having silicon bonded alkenyl groups, (C) a polyalkylhydrogensiloxane, having at least two silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms per a molecule, (D) a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst in a catalytic amount, (E) a hydrosilylation reaction inhibitor, (F) an anchorage additive, and optionally (G) a solvent; where the composition is free of polydiorganosiloxanes that do not have silicon bonded aryl groups, other than starting material (A). Also provided are a method for preparing a release liner(100) with a release coating(101) and the prepared release liner(100).
Laser platable thermoplastic compositions with good flame retardancy, high heat property and good ductility and shaped articles made therefrom
A thermoplastic composition includes a polyarylene ether component, a flame retardant additive, an impact modifier, and a laser direct structuring additive. The laser platable thermoplastic composition is capable of being plated after being activated using a laser, exhibits a plating index of greater than 0.8 when tested using X-ray fluorescence, and exhibits a heat deflection temperature of greater than 150° C. at 0.45 MPa/3.2 mm when tested in accordance with ASTM D648. In further aspects, the thermoplastic composition may further comprise a laser direct structuring additive synergist comprising a polysiloxane, a polysilane, or a silane.
ORGANOPOLYSILOXANE AND CURABLE COMPOSITION CONTAINING SAME
This organopolysiloxane which has a constituent unit represented by general formula (1) and a group represented by general formula (2), said group being directly bonded to a silicon atom, enables a curable composition containing a polyisocyanate compound to achieve a good balance between fast curing properties and storage stability, and enables the achievement of a cured product that has excellent hardness, heat resistance and wet heat resistance.

Photosensitive siloxane composition and cured film formed by using the same
To provide a photosensitive composition capable of easily forming a cured film having a low refractive index. The present invention provides a photosensitive siloxane composition comprising: a polysiloxane, a photosensitive agent, hollow silica particles, and a solvent. The hollow silica particles contain voids inside, and have outer surfaces subjected to hydrophobic treatment.
Use of aryl group containing organopolysiloxane gums as additives to increase rheological behavior
Curable silicone compositions comprising an aryl group-containing organopolysiloxane gum having a consistency of 200 to 900 as a rheological modifier are provided. Use of the curable silicone compositions comprising an aryl group-containing organopolysiloxane gum having a consistency of 200 to 900 in methods for additive manufacturing a three-dimensional silicone elastomer article are further provided.
