Cured product
The present application relates to a cured product and the use thereof. The cured product has excellent processability, workability, and adhesive properties or the like, and does not cause whitening and surface stickiness, etc. The cured product has excellent transparency, moisture resistance, mechanical properties, and cracking resistance, etc. The cured product, for example, may be applied as an encapsulant or an adhesive material of a semiconductor device to provide a device having high long-term reliability.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING ORGANOFUNCTIONAL SILICONE RESINS
Organofunctional organopolysiloxanes resins are prepared by reaction of a reactive silicone resin with a symmetrically substituted disiloxane in the presence of a heterogeneous activated silicate catalyst.
ADHESIVE COMPOSITIONS AND USES THEREOF
Adhesive compositions are disclosed. In some embodiments, the adhesive compositions comprise an organosiloxane block copolymer, wherein the blocks of the block copolymer consist of an —Si—O—Si— backbone. The organosiloxane block copolymer comprises at least two blocks that are phase-separated. The organosiloxane block copolymer has at least a first glass transition temperature (Tg.sup.1) and a second glass transition temperature (Tg.sup.2), the second glass transition temperature being at 25° C. or higher. A 1 mm thick cast film of the adhesive composition has, in some embodiments, a light transmittance of at least 95%. The adhesive composition of the various embodiments of the present invention can be B-staged at about Tg.sup.2 or at about 100° C. below Tg.sup.2.

The invention also concerns devices and methods using such compositions. Protective devices have been used to protect the hoofs of animals. Shoes have been used to protect the hoofs from damage while the animal is walking or running.
Curable composition, semiconductor device, and ester bond-containing organosilicon compound
A curable composition including: (A) an ester bond-containing organosilicon compound having two or more addition reactive carbon-carbon double bonds in one molecule, shown by the following general formula (1); (B) a silicon compound having two or more silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atoms in one molecule; and (C) a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst. This provides a curable composition to give a cured product with low gas permeability as well as excellent crack resistance and light transmission property. ##STR00001##
CURABLE SILICONE COMPOSITION AND APPLICATIONS AND USES THEREOF
A curable composition comprising (a) an organopolysiloxane comprising a curable functional group; (b) a cross-linker comprising a silyl hydride group or a thiol group; (c) a reaction accelerator; (d) optionally an inhibitor; and (e) optionally other additives. The curable composition exhibits high refractive index and optical clarity. The curable composition can be used to prepare a cured material that exhibits high refractive index, optical clarity, crack resistance, and low moisture vapor permeability.

A particulate coating composition, and preferably a powder coating composition, comprising: (i) at least one polyester polymer; (ii) at least one hardener; (iii) at least 0.1 wt % of at least one metallic pigment; and (iv) at least one polyorganosiloxane.
Silicone rubber and phenolic modified silicone rubber and methods for preparing the same
The present invention discloses a silicone rubber and a method for preparing it, and a phenolic modified silicone rubber resin and a method for preparing it. The structural formula of the silicone rubber is shown as follows: ##STR00001## Wherein x=70-80, y=10-20. The structural formula of the phenolic-modified silicone rubber resin is shown as follows: ##STR00002## wherein n, x, y are degrees of polymerization, n=10-20, x=70-80, y=10-20. A method for preparing the phenolic-modified silicone rubber resin orderly comprises: adding 90-110 parts by mass of brominated phenolic resin and 180-220 parts of organic solvent into 100 parts by mass of silicone rubber, reacting at 70-80° C. for 24-48 h until the solution is clear and transparent; adding 9-11 parts by mass of capping agent, reacting for another 4-5 h to obtain a reaction liquid containing phenolic-modified silicone rubber resin. The phenolic-modified silicone rubber resin prepared in the present invention can solve the problem of easy pulverization in the ablation process of conventional silicone rubber and meanwhile has high mechanical properties.
