Multifunctional supramolecular hybrids encompassing hierarchical self-ordering of metal-organic framework nanoparticles and method of preparing same
A supramolecular metal-organic framework material is a reaction product of a copper compound, a trialkylamine represented by Chemical Formula 1, and benzene substituted with 3 or more carboxyl groups.
Brush composition, and method of producing structure containing phase-separated structure
A method of producing a structure containing a phase-separated structure, the method including: applying a brush composition to a substrate to form a brush layer; forming a layer containing a block copolymer on the brush layer; and phase-separating the layer containing the block copolymer, the brush composition including a resin component (A), the resin component (A) containing a polymeric compound (A1) in which a first polymer block and a second polymer block are bonded to each other through a linking group containing a substrate adhering group.
Ligand-containing conjugated microporous polymer and use thereof
The present invention relates to a ligand-containing conjugated microporous polymer, which is obtained by covalent coupling of a conjugated microporous polymer and a uranium complexing ligand. The conjugated microporous polymer comprises an aromatic ring and/or a heterocyclic ring. The uranium complexing ligand is selected from the group consisting of a compound with a group containing phosphorus, a compound with a group containing nitrogen, and a compound with a group containing sulfur. The invention further provides use of the ligand-containing conjugated microporous polymer as a uranium adsorbent. The ligand-containing conjugated microporous polymer the invention is capable of adsorbing the radioactive element uranium in strongly acidic and strong-radiation environments.
BOTTLEBRUSH POLYMERS AND USES THEREOF
Provided are new bottlebrush polymers and diblock bottlebrush copolymers, which can self-assemble into structures of desired morphology (e.g., hexagonal cylindrical, gyroid). The self-assembled structures of the bottlebrush polymers and copolymers provide useful materials such as photonics (e.g., photonic crystals), functional materials, chromatography media, stimuli-responsive materials, lubricants, nanolithography, films, and coatings. In certain embodiments, the backbone repeating units of the bottlebrush polymers and copolymers have two different polymeric sidechains covalently attached to the backbone repeating unit through a branched linker, wherein one of the polymeric sidechain is a polysiloxane. Also provided are methods of preparing the bottlebrush polymers and copolymers described herein.
Supramolecular gel supported on open-cell polymer foam
The present invention relates to a polymer foam, said polymer foam comprising pores forming an open-cell polymer foam, said polymer foam comprising a supramolecular gel inside pores, and said polymer foam comprising at least one enzyme. The present invention relates to a supramolecular gel; its preparation and its applications, notably in chemical synthesis and kinetic resolution, in particular of organic compounds. The present invention also relates to flow chemistry.
SUPRAMOLECULAR STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME AND SELF-HEALING ELASTOMER
Disclosed are a supramolecular structure including a plurality of first oligomers having a zwitterion at the terminal end and a plurality of second oligomers having a hydrogen-bondable functional group at the terminal end, wherein a supramolecule including the plurality of first oligomers and a supramolecule including the plurality of second oligomers form a three-dimensional network structure, and a method of manufacturing the same, a self-healing elastomer, a self-healing film, and an electronic device.
ASSOCIATIVE POLYMERS AND RELATED COMPOSITIONS, METHODS AND SYSTEMS
Described herein are associative polymers capable of controlling a physical and/or chemical property of non-polar compositions and related compositions, methods and systems. Associative polymers herein described have a non-polar backbone and functional groups presented at ends of the non-polar backbone, with a number of the functional groups presented at the ends of the non-polar backbone formed by associative functional groups capable of undergoing an associative interaction with another associative functional group with an association constant (k) such that the strength of each associative interaction is less than the strength of a covalent bond between atoms and in particular less than the strength of a covalent bond between backbone atoms.
Dermal drug delivery using amphiphilic dendron-coil micelles
The invention generally relates to the field of drug delivery. In particular, the invention relates to amphiphilic dendron-coils, micelles thereof and their use for the transdermal delivery of drugs.
DISINTEGRATABLE POROUS ORGANOMETALOXIDE MATERIAL
The present invention relates to disintegratable mesoporous silica materials, a method for producing the same, and uses thereof.
BLOCK COPOLYMERS AND USES THEREOF
An encoding/decoding apparatus and method using a low-density parity-check code (LDPC code) is disclosed. Basic column group information, serving as a set of information regarding positions of rows with weight 1, is extracted from a reference column in each column group of a predetermined parity-check matrix. Column group information transforms the positions of rows with weight 1 into positions whose lengths are within a required parity length. A parity-check matrix is generated according to the generated column group information. Data is enclosed or decoded based on the generated parity-check matrix.
