DOUBLE-SIDED PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE TAPE
The invention relates to a method for peeling a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape including: a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The pressure-sensitive adhesive tape has a thickness greater than 150 μm and smaller than 1,500 μm, an elongation at break of 600% to 3,000%, and a stress at break of 2.5 to 80.0 MPa. According to the invention, the conformity and the adhesion with respect to an adherend, particularly, a hard adherend, are excellent, and excellent re-peeling properties are obtained, so that the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape can be stretched and peeled off in a horizontal direction, without necessity for embrittling the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape by heating or by using an organic solvent or the like or without remaining of the pressure-sensitive adhesive on the adherend, in a case of peeling the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape.
ADHESIVE FOR NONAQUEOUS BATTERIES AND ADHESIVE TAPE FOR NONAQUEOUS BATTERIES
Provided are a pressure-sensitive adhesive for a nonaqueous battery, which is excellent in adhesive property in a nonaqueous electrolytic solution, is reduced in stickiness, and can be prevented from protruding from an end surface of a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape when applied to the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape including the pressure-sensitive adhesive. The pressure-sensitive adhesive for a nonaqueous battery of the present invention is a pressure-sensitive adhesive configured to express an adhesive property by being pressure-bonded, including: an acrylic polymer having an acid functional group; and a crystalline resin having a melting point of 25° C. or more. In one embodiment, the pressure-sensitive adhesive for a nonaqueous battery is configured to express the adhesive property by being warmed.
PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVES MADE FROM UV CURING OF PLANT OIL-BASED POLYESTERS
An ultraviolet radiation-curable composition comprising a polyester having at least one pendant ultraviolet radiation-curable moiety covalently bonded to the polyester, wherein the polyester does not contain any free-radically polymerizable activated C═C groups.
UV DEBONDABLE PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE TAPE
The present invention provides a UV debondable pressure sensitive adhesive composition and an adhesive tape comprising the same. The UV debondable pressure sensitive adhesive composition comprises a polyacrylate pressure sensitive adhesive, a UV-light polymerizable polyurethane oligomer, a cationic photoinitiator and a free radical photoinitiator, wherein polymerization monomers of the polyacrylate pressure sensitive adhesive comprise an acrylic monomer having an epoxy functional group. The UV debondable pressure sensitive adhesive composition has a bonding force dropping significantly upon UV irradiation, and leaves no residual adhesive.
RE-WORKABLE ADHESIVES FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES
The present disclosure is drawn to re-workable adhesives for electronic devices. In one example, a re-workable adhesive for an electronic device can include a hot-melt adhesive present in an amount from about 60 wt % to about 90 wt % with respect to the total weight of the re-workable adhesive. The hot-melt adhesive can have a reduced bond strength at an elevated temperature. The re-workable adhesive can also include a pressure-sensitive adhesive present in an amount from about 10 wt % to about 40 wt % with respect to the total weight of the re-workable adhesive, wherein the pressure-sensitive adhesive has a higher bond strength compared to the hot-melt adhesive when at the elevated temperature.
Pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet
Provided is a PSA sheet capable of suitably preventing bubble formation caused by outgassing. This invention provides a PSA sheet comprising a PSA layer that forms an adhesive face. In an aging test where the adhesive face is press-bonded to a glass plate and stored at 50° C. for 24 hours, the PSA sheet has at least 5% post-aging non-bonding area Sa, with Sa defined as the ratio of all areas non-bonding to the glass plate relative to the total area of the adhesive face. The non-bonding areas have parts linearly extending along the adhesive face.
SILICONE PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND METHODS FOR THE PREPARATION AND USE THEREOF
A silicone pressure sensitive adhesive composition is curable to form a silicone pressure sensitive adhesive. The silicone pressure sensitive adhesive composition can be coated on a substrate and cured to form a protective film. The protective film can be adhered to an anti-fingerprint coating on display glass, such as cover glass for a smartphone.
