PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A FORMULATION CONTAINING POLY(LACTIC ACID) AND ALIPHATIC AND/OR AROMATIC POLYESTERS AND PRODUCTS USING IT
The invention presented in this document relates to processes for the preparation of a formulation containing poly(lactic acid) (PLA) and aliphatic and/or aromatic polyesters which plasticize it, and its use in monofilaments and films. The presence of polyesters does not remove the biodegradability and composting characteristics of the raw materials used in the formulation. The invention also concerns products that use the formulation.
CELLULOSE FIBER COMPOSITE RECYCLED RESIN AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR
A cellulose fiber composite recycled resin having excellent strength, and a method for producing the same. The cellulose fiber composite recycled resin contains a recycled resin and a mixture of fibrous cellulose, at least one of resin powders and resin pellets, and at least one substance selected from the group consisting of phthalic acid, phthalates, derivatives of phthalic acid, and derivatives of phthalates. For producing this composite resin, at least one of resin powders and resin pellets are added to a slurry of cellulose fibers to obtain a first mixture, a recycled resin is mixed into the first mixture to obtain a second mixture, and the second mixture is kneaded, wherein part or all of the cellulose fibers are fine fibers.
POLYOLEFIN BASED COMPOSITIONS MODIFIED BY SILANES
A thermoplastic polyolefin composition which is capable of being shaped and repeatedly recycled, comprises propy-lene-based polymers, said composition being modified with 0.01-5 wt % of organic oligomeric silanes selected from partially hydrolyzed alkoxy substituted vinyl, allyl or methacryl silanes, and blends thereof, and 0.0005-0.5 wt % of a compound capable of generating free radicals
FUNCTIONAL FABRIC AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A functional fabric and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. The functional fabric includes a polyurethane resin matrix and a plastic optical molding material. In the functional fabric, a content of the polyurethane resin matrix is between 48 wt % and 95 wt %, and a content of the plastic optical molding material is between 5 wt % and 50 wt %. The functional fabric further includes an ultraviolet absorber, an antioxidant additive, and an antibacterial additive. The functional fabric satisfies following test standards: (1) reaching level 4 of a phenolic yellowing test; (2) passing at least 60 hours of a QUV (ASTM G154) test; (3) passing at least four weeks of a water decomposition resistance test under the test conditions of 70° C. and 95% relative humidity; and (4) passing at least one certification of Global Recycle Standard (GRS) and Recycled Claim Standard (RCS).
Process for preparing a polymer/biological entities alloy
The present invention relates to a process for preparing a polymer/biological entities alloy, comprising a step of mixing a polymer and biological entities that degrade it, during a heat treatment, said heat treatment being performed at a temperature T above room temperature and said biological entities being resistant to said temperature T, characterized in that said biological entities are chosen from enzymes that degrade said polymer and microorganisms that degrade said polymer.
Thermoplastic elastomer composition, method for producing the same, and elastomer molded body
A thermoplastic elastomer composition having: at least one elastomer component selected from the group made of elastomeric polymers (A) each of which has a side chain containing a hydrogen-bond cross-linkable moiety having a carbonyl-containing group and/or a nitrogen-containing heterocycle and has a glass-transition point of 25° C. or below, and elastomeric polymers (B) each of which contains a hydrogen-bond cross-linkable moiety and a covalent-bond cross-linking moiety in a side chain and has a glass-transition point of 25° C. or below; an organically modified clay, a content ratio of which is 20 parts by mass or less relative to 100 parts by mass of the elastomer component; and a polymer (Z) which is a polymer other than the elastomeric polymers (A) and (B), and an SP value of which is 9.0 or more and is greater by 0.5 or more than an SP value of the elastomer component.
POLYFORMALDEHYDE COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The present invention provides a polyformaldehyde composite material, in parts by weight, including the following components: 70 to 95 parts of a polyformaldehyde; 5 to 20 parts of a SEBS; wherein, the SEBS is acid modified or amine modified. Due to modification by acid or amine, and presence of a polystyrene segment, a compatibility of the SEBS with the polyformaldehyde reduces because of a steric hindrance effect, which reduces an ability of a POM molecular chain to arrange regularly. When injection molded into a product or template, an incompatibility of the material itself will form a micro-rough effect on a surface of the material. When an incident light reaches the micro-rough surface, a reflection direction of the light will change and thus a diffuse reflection occurs, and a low-gloss material is obtained.
RESIN COMPOSITION, RESIN COMPOSITION PRODUCTION METHOD, CELLULOSE FIBER COMPOSITION, REINFORCING MATERIAL, AND MOLDED ARTICLE
To provide a resin composition that allows the effect of cellulose fibers added to be exerted sufficiently and allows a molded body having good mechanical strength to be produced, a method for producing the resin composition, a cellulose fiber composition, and a molded article using the resin composition. The resin composition of the present invention contains: an olefin-based polymer (A); cellulose fibers (B); an amide compound (C) having at least one hydrocarbon group; and an acrylic-based polymer (D) that contains a first structural unit based on an alkyl (meth)acrylate and a second structural unit based on an acrylic monomer having an amido group and has a weight average molecular weight of 5,000 to 100,000.
