POLYMER POLYOLS, PROCESSES FOR THEIR PREPARATION, AND THE USE THEREOF TO PRODUCE FOAMS EXHIBITING RESISTANCE TO COMBUSTION
Polymer polyols (“PMPOs”), processes for their production, and the use of such PMPOs, particularly in the production of flexible polyurethane foams. The PMPOs are produced using an ethylenically unsaturated composition that includes a crosslinker that results in crosslinks in the PMPO polymer particles that may decompose when exposed to flame temperatures. The PMPOs is capable of providing a flexible polyurethane foam that may exhibit combustibility resistance properties.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL NETWORK AQUEOUS GEL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A three-dimensional network aqueous gel and a manufacturing method thereof are disclosed. A water-soluble polymer is first added into a solvent and uniformly mixed, followed by hydrolysis to form a sol, and vacuum is applied to convert the sol into a gel, followed by a polycondensation reaction to form a three-dimensional network aqueous gel. The three-dimensional network aqueous gel is formed of the water-soluble polymer that includes a group including sodium alginate and sodium carboxymethyl cellulose. The water-soluble polymer is interconnected to form a three-dimensional network structure. The three-dimensional network aqueous gel is of a gel-enclosed form, which uses the three-dimensional network structure formed of a high-molecule polymer to enclose medicine, so as to more effectively protect the active ingredient and provide an effect of controlled released to thereby extend therapeutic period and reduce side effects of irritating skin.
Flexible polyolefin thermal insulation foam and use thereof, and a method for producing a flexible polyolefin thermal insulation foam
Disclosed is a polyolefin thermal insulation foam and use thereof, and to a method for preparing a physically foamed polyolefin thermal insulation foam, which can be recycled well and which has excellent flexibility characteristics.
Cellulose ester compositions
The application discloses cellulose ester compositions comprising two or more miscible blends of cellulose ester each comprising a plurality of propionyl substituents having tunable rheology and physical properties not achievable by any one of the cellulose esters alone. These cellulose ester compositions can be further processed, with or without other materials such as plasticizers, flame retardants, and blowing agents, and converted into articles. These cellulose ester compositions have higher modulus and have low to no butyryl/butyric acid content relative to cellulose acetate butyrate (“CAB”) cellulose ester compositions made from CABs having a butyryl content of greater than 30 wt %.
Method for producing resin molded article and shoe sole member
Provided is a method for producing a resin molded article including an introducing step of introducing a plurality of resin foam particles and a heat medium substance into a forming mold, and a molding step of, after the introducing step, heating the forming mold to a temperature at which the heat medium substance can be vaporized, thereby obtaining a resin molded article including the plurality of resin foam particles.
FLAME RETARDANT STYRENE POLYMER COMPOSITION AND PROCESS FOR RECYCLING STYRENE POLYMER-CONTAINING SCRAP
The present invention provides a flame-retardant styrene polymer composition comprising an organic bromine compound, zinc stearate and calcium stearate, the use for preparing styrene polymer films or foams and a process for recycling of styrene polymer-containing scrap.
Conductive polymer nanocellulose aerogels and use as strain sensor
The present disclosure provides an aerogel comprising conductive polymers and cellulose nanofibrils (CNF). The present disclosure also provides a sensor comprising the aerogels of the present invention.
CELLULOSE FIBER FOAM WITH PAPER-LIKE SKIN AND COMPRESSION MOLDING PROCESS FOR ITS PREPARATION
Provided herein is a molded cellulose foam having a smooth, dense surface fiber layer and a low density, open-cell structure interior, a process for compression-molding fiber foam into such molded cellulose foam, articles prepared with such foam, and articles prepared by such process.
Composite with direct bonding between rubber and foam
This disclosure relates to a composite comprising (a) a rubber layer comprising a cured rubber and optionally a first copolymer having carboxyl groups or anhydride groups; and (b) a foam layer comprising a crosslinked ethylene vinyl acetate and optionally a second copolymer having carboxyl groups or glycidyl methacrylate groups; wherein the foam layer has at least one surface adhering to the rubber layer directly, and provided that either the first copolymer or the second copolymer is present, and the composite is free of glues or adhesive films in the interface between the rubber layer and the foam layer.
Foam molded product of thermoplastic polyester elastomer resin and method for producing the same
According to the present invention, there is provided a foam molded product of thermoplastic polyester elastomer resin which exhibits light weight and excellent rebound resilience. The foam molded product is characterized in that, the foam molded product has a foamed layer consisting of a resin phase and an isolated foamed cell.
