Additionally, the present disclosure relates to compositions comprising 1,1,2,3-tetrachloropropene, 2-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene, or 2-chloro-1,1,1,2-tetrafluoropropane, which may be useful in processes to produce 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene.
Compositions for producing foamed materials
The invention relates to a composition for the production of foams based on phenolic resin, use thereof, and a process for the production of the composition. For provision of a composition for the production of foams based on phenolic resin, where the said composition delivers improved reaction to fire with, in essence, no alteration of further important foam properties, it is proposed that the composition comprises an alkoxylated novolak, wherein the novolak is produced using phenol, cresol and/or xylenol.
Method for producing cured polymeric skins
This invention relates to the production of cured polymeric skin materials. In particular, the invention relates to methods and substrates for the production of skin materials, for example, for use in building, furniture, and as architectural components for example in roofing materials such as roofing tiles, or for brick wall effect materials.
Fiber-reinforced composite material and process for producing fiber-reinforced composite material
A fiber-reinforced composite material which comprises carbon fibers and a resin, wherein the carbon fibers have crimps and have been entangled and the fiber volume content is 30 to 80%. The fiber-reinforced composite material combines quasi-isotropy with a high fiber volume content and has little unevenness in mechanical property.
PHENOLIC RESIN FOAM AND METHOD OF PRODUCING SAME
Provided are a phenolic resin foam that has low environmental impact, can maintain excellent thermal insulation performance over the long-term, and reduces condensation inside walls associated with increased water vapor permeation, and also a method of producing the same. The phenolic resin foam contains a phenolic resin and at least one selected from the group consisting of a chlorinated hydrofluoroolefin, a non-chlorinated hydrofluoroolefin, and a halogenated hydrocarbon. The phenolic resin foam has a density of at least 20 kg/m.sup.3 and no greater than 100 kg/m.sup.3, an average cell diameter of at least 10 um and no greater than 300 ?m, a closed cell ratio of at least 80% and no greater than 99%, and a water vapor permeance of at least 0.38 ng/(m.Math.s.Math.Pa) and no greater than 2.00 ng/(m.Math.s.Math.Pa).
