The laminated film comprising a coating layer and an inorganic thin film layer on one surface of a substrate film, wherein the laminated film satisfies the following requirements (a) to (f): (a) the substrate film contains 50% by weight or more and 95% by weight or less of a polyester resin recycled from PET bottles; (b) a surface hardness of an inorganic thin film layer surface of the laminated film is 120 N/mm.sup.2 or less; (c) the coating layer contains a resin having an oxazoline group or a carbodiimide group as a constituent component; (d) a content rate of an isophthalic acid component relative to a total dicarboxylic acid component in a whole polyester resin constituting the substrate film is 0.5 mol % or more and 5.0 mol % or less; (e) both a coefficient of static friction μs and a coefficient of dynamic friction μd of the inorganic thin film layer surface/an opposite surface of the laminated film are within a range of 0.20 to 0.40; and (f) an arithmetic average roughness Ra of the laminated film in a 2-μm square range is within a range of 2.0 to 6.0 nm.

A container (1) for storing a bodily fluid, for example a blood collection tube (2), comprising: an interior space (4) configured to store the bodily fluid; and a wall (5) enveloping the interior space, wherein a surface of the wall (5) facing the interior space (4) of the container (1) forms a contact surface (6), wherein at least a portion of the contact surface (6) is provided with a primer coating (7), wherein the primer coating (7) is formed from a perfluorophenyl azide (PFPA) including an azide group (9) and a functional group (10), and wherein a co polymer made from poly (N-vinylamine-co-N-vinyl acetamide) is bonded to the functional group (10) of the primer coating (7). The invention also relates to a method for coating a contact surface (6) of a container (1) for storing a bodily fluid.

The present application is directed to processes for removing carbon dioxide (CO.sub.2) from low CO.sub.2 concentration gaseous streams. The process comprises contacting the gaseous stream with a hydrogel for absorbing at least some CO.sub.2 from the gaseous stream. The hydrogel comprises a cross-linked hydrophilic polymer comprising a hydrophilic polymer cross-linked with a cross-linking agent. Processes for preparing the hydrogel, types of hydrogels, using the hydrogel to remove CO.sub.2 from gaseous streams, and regenerating the hydrogel to recover absorbed CO.sub.2 from the hydrogel are also disclosed.

Multi-armed polyoxazolines and compositions, systems and methods pertaining to the same

In some aspects, the present disclosure pertains to a multi-arm polymer comprising a core and a plurality of polyoxazoline segments (or arms) having a first end that is covalently attached to the core and a second end comprising a moiety that comprises a reactive group. In some aspects, systems are provided that comprise a first composition comprising such a multi-arm polymer and a second composition comprising a multifunctional compound that comprises functional groups that are reactive with the reactive groups of the multi-arm polymer. In some aspects, systems are provided that comprise crosslinked reaction products of such a multi-arm polymer and such a multifunctional compound.

Also, a printed stretchable substrate obtained from the electrically conductive nanocomposite particles, which is usable, for example, in the field of printed electronics or connected clothing.

Described herein is a method of preparing a thermoresponsive polymer biomacromolecule conjugate, the method comprising: preparing by living cationic ring opening polymerisation a thermoresponsive polymer selected from polyoxazoline, polyoxazine, or copolymer thereof, the so-formed thermoresponsive polymer having a living cation; and reacting the living cation with a nucleophilic functional group selected from carboxylate, amino, sulfate, sulfonate, phosphate, phosphonate and thiol of a biomacromolecule to conjugate the thermoresponsive polymer to the biomacromolecule; wherein in an aqueous liquid the so-formed thermoresponsive polymer biomacromolecule conjugate exhibits a gelation temperature and forms a hydrogel in that liquid above that gelation temperature.
