Potting Paste for Honeycomb Reinforcement
The invention relates to a potting paste composition for honeycomb reinforcement having improved fire retardancy characteristics. The potting paste composition comprises (a) a curable polymer; (b) a curing agent for the curable polymer; (c) a fire retardant comprising an ammonium polyphosphate in combination with an ingredient selected from the group consisting of metal hydroxides, expandable graphites, liquid phosphate esters, phosphorous organic compounds or salts thereof, and zeolites; and(d) a filler selected from the group consisting of polymeric microspheres, hollow glass microspheres, and thixotropic fillers; wherein the potting paste has an uncured density determined by the method according to EN ISO 1183 of not more than 0.7100 g/cm.sup.3, preferably of at most 0.680 g/cm.sup.3, more preferably of at most 0.673 g/cm.sup.3, still more preferably of at most 0.660 g/cm.sup.3, even more preferably of at most 0.658 g/cm.sup.3, yet more preferably of at most 0.653 g/cm.sup.3 and in particular of at most 0.620 g/cm.sup.3; and wherein the total content of the fire retardant is at least 5.0 wt.-%, preferably at least 10 wt.-%, more preferably at least 15 wt.-%, relative to the total weight of the potting paste composition.
STYRENE-BASED RESIN COMPOSITION
A styrene resin composition includes: a resin (A) comprising a styrene resin (A1) having a syndiotactic structure and an aliphatic polyamide (A2); and 0.05 to 0.75% by mass of a metal salt (B) of a higher fatty acid. The mass ratio [(A1)/(A2)] between the styrene resin (A1) and the aliphatic polyamide (A2) in the resin (A) is 25/75 to 55/45.
STYRENE-BASED RESIN COMPOSITION
A styrene resin composition includes: a resin (A) comprising a styrene resin (A1) having a syndiotactic structure and an aliphatic polyamide (A2); and 0.05 to 0.75% by mass of a metal salt (B) of a higher fatty acid. The mass ratio [(A1)/(A2)] between the styrene resin (A1) and the aliphatic polyamide (A2) in the resin (A) is 25/75 to 55/45.

Disclosed in the present invention is a polyamide 5X industrial yarn. The polyamide 5X industrial yarn has a heat-resistant break strength retention rate of 90% or more after being treated at 180° C. for 4 hrs; a heat-resistant break strength retention rate of 90% or more after being treated at 230° C. for 30 mins; and a dry heat shrinkage of 8.0% or less. The polyamide 5X industrial yarn is widely used in the fields of sewing threads, tire cords, air bag yarns, release cloth, krama, canvas, safety belts, ropes, fishing nets, industrial filter cloth, conveyor belts, parachutes, tents, bags and suitcases.

Preferably, the nutrient complex typically comprises anionic sulphate ions and cationic salts of iron(II) and copper(II), thereby facilitating methane oxidation in an anaerobic environment such as a landfill.
